The rider Ghalia Chawy won the Royal Armed Forces Award on Saturday evening, included in the official show jumping competitions, four stars, for the Royal Guard, hosted by the Hassan II arena at the Mechouar Saïd in Rabat, under the high patronage of King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
Ghalia Chawy, from the Riders Club of Casablanca, riding the horse "ESPERENZO", was crowned with this award after the barrage round, after recording a time of 42 seconds and 74 hundredths of a second, without any error. He preceded the rider Mohamed Azoum, on the horse "CACOTA", who finished the competition in 55 seconds and 01 hundredths of a second with one penalty point. Regarding the Moroccan Royal Equestrian Federation Award, the first place went to the French rider Florent Ginan, riding the horse "ELLA DU LYS", with a time of 61 seconds and 16 hundredths of a second, without error. Majed El Jaaidi came in second with the horse "EXPERT PREVOTEE", after recording 69 seconds and 94 hundredths of a second, without error, while the third place went to Yasser Arbayn riding the horse "GRAMYCO SITTE", with a time of 74 seconds and 41 hundredths of a second, without error. Regarding the Cavalry Inspection Award, which took place over two rounds, the first place went to El Alami Mohamed Benhribit on the horse "CREME CARAMEL Z", after recording a time of 26 seconds and 38 hundredths of a second, without any error, followed by the rider Farid Amanzar, riding "ISLAY O’BURET", then Majed El Jaaidi with "RADCLIFF JB". The official show jumping competition of 4 stars continues until April 5th, with the participation of the most prominent riders of the national clubs under the banner of the Moroccan Royal Equestrian Federation. This sporting event includes 13 competitions, the most prominent of which is the Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory, expected on Sunday.
