A security coordination between the elements of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Tamensourt brigade and the elements of the Anti-Gang Brigade of the Judicial Police in the Marrakech Security Directorate, led, on Saturday, to the arrest of one of the wanted persons, suspected of involvement in a serious case of assault leading to death, a crime that has shaken local public opinion since the second day of Ramadan.
The arrest operation by the security services relied on techniques of tracking the suspect's mobile phone number, which made it possible to accurately determine his location, where the operation resulted in the arrest of the person concerned in a sudden and successful intervention, which our sources described as "professional", given the sensitivity of the file and the seriousness of the actions attributed to him.
The details of this case go back to an incident of a violent physical assault that occurred during the second day of Ramadan, where the victim was subjected to a serious assault that led to his death later, which mobilized various security agencies and opened an investigation under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution.
