How can we view the exceeding of planetary boundaries as a starting point for rethinking our society? How can we develop the inner skills and capacities necessary for societal change? And how can we turn knowledge into action? TransformAction Lab is here to help: with workshops, retreats, courses, and team events, we support individuals and organisations committed to a sustainable and climate-just Switzerland. 

Our vision is a planet worth living on for all living beings and a society that respects planetary boundaries and enables every human being to live in dignity. This systemic change can only be achieved if we address the roots of the current social, ecological, and economic challenges and transform our ways of thinking, acting, and living - on a personal and collective level. 

Our offer

We support the transformation towards a fair and sustainable Switzerland by focusing on strengthening inner competencies and capacities for sustainability and climate justice. These key competencies and capacities are those identified in the Guide to Inner Development and the cross-cutting competencies for sustainability identified by UNESCO. 

We facilitate learning and transformation processes that are based on recognised methods of transformative learning, change management, and collective intelligence.  

Concretely: 

  • We raise awareness of the links between the ecological, societal and economic challenges of our time. 
  • We create spaces for transformation by raising awareness of values, emotions and lifestyles, and by developing inner capacities and skills. 
  • We identify and implement individual and collective action points for greater climate justice and sustainability. 

We facilitate standardised and tailor-made workshops, retreats, training courses and team building events for groups ranging from a handful to more than 100 participants. We work throughout Switzerland in French, German and English, both in person (indoors and/or outdoors) and online.
