Casey joined Empowered Ventures in August of 2024 and serves as Finance & Marketing Associate. His background equips him to use both words and numbers to tell the stories of EV, its businesses, and its amazing employee-owners.

After earning a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, Casey spent 15 years honing a diverse finance skillset with roles in private banking, wealth management, business valuation, and investment banking. He also learned the value of relationships while serving in development at his alma mater, and how to appreciate a good turn of phrase as a freelance writer for a leading productivity and coaching website.

Unafraid of a career pivot, Casey’s career reflects a passion for learning. Very afraid of unnecessary jargon, he has honed an ability to simplify the complex. He considers it a privilege to use his cocktail of experience to elevate and advance EV’s mission.

Above all, Casey is a dad to twin boys and a husband to his better half. He recently spent two years on Sadadical as a full-time dad and brings those hard-earned organizational skills with him to EV. When not coaching t-ball or finishing his boys’ dinners, you can find Casey on a hiking trail, reading a good book, or hunting down a great bottle of wine.
