Ticket Emoji Meaning
A paper ticket, which may be for a theatre show, sporting event, or other ticketed performance. Shown in blue, yellow or grey on most platforms.
Apple and Samsung’s designs indicate that the ticket is for a live concert. WhatsApp’s design similarly references a concert and includes a date (February 14 - Valentine's Day), along with the scroll of a string instrument, possibly a violin. JoyPixel's design includes their logomark.
An earlier Apple design referenced the “John Appleseed World Tour.”

Ticket was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
