My last single son got married in December 2016 after dating the same girl for over 8 years.. They had a baby girl in Oct 2017. Now I have 6 granddaughters and one grandson. Feeling very blessed. Here is a pic of the happy couple and the little one.

When I left LJ my Granddaughter was just born. ( I call her jellybean since I found out about her on Easter)She had a lot of medical problems and in the last two years she had two operations. One on her nose and one on her tummy. But she is doing great now. My son sold his Townhome and now they are living with us till they saved up enough for a house. I have my jellybean here and Oma is her favored.

Will be back in a couple of days. My Granddaughter Arianna born on October 24 had a surgery on her tummy last saturday. Took her to the ER on Friday and the operation was the next day. Food didn't go to the right place because of a block. She is doing fine but will have more operation due to the fact what she is missing 3 ribs in the back plus she is still on oxygen. But for know she is fine. Thanks god.

Never Forget!
On a crisp Tuesday morning, with the sun shining bright,
Who could know that we soon would behold such a sight?
All our ears heard the rumble, all our eyes in a stare,
At the vision of horror, so high up in the air.
Could this be just a mishap, just a tragic mistake?
One could actually feel, the very ground shake.
Clear the streets! Step aside! The police must get through.
And the fire trucks wailing fully loaded with crews.
Then to everyone’s utter amazement and shock,
Yet another explodes, just past 9 o’clock.
People fled, women cried, thousands ran for their lives.
How could any come through this, how could any survive?
And the “Bravest” and “Finest” charged to save those in need.
We would soon know their valor, as they honored their creeds.
Then when none of us felt it could get any worse
The first tower succumbed and came crashing to earth.
Thousands glued to the tube, disbelief in their hearts
As the second gave way, then it just fell apart!
Those poor souls and their loved ones and their rescuers, too!
To our utter dismay there came even worse news.
The events that transpired on that day, what a pity.
Were not to take place just within New York City.
Our great Pentagon’s structure was to suffer the hell
And the loss of so many who had served us so well.
And we soon all would learn of a Flight 93
All alone in the air where no cameras could see
They charged and they fought in a quest for control
Those brave souls gave their lives as they shouted, “Let’s Roll”.
Now the time since that day has flown by very fast
It’s now been years ago since that very first blast.
We’ve exacted some justice, more to come I am sure
And no matter the trials, we will surely endure.
As a land and a people we’re still strong and upright
But the battle’s not over and our troops must still fight.
Let us honor the fallen both at home and abroad
And their service and courage we still duly applaud.
And we think of the loved ones living on every day
With the hurt and the ache that just won’t go away.
So as we take pause, to remember and pray
Let us also take time to give thanks on this day.
May we always be brave, may our land be restored
Keep us safe in Your hands, we pray now, O Dear LORD.

My 10 year old Granddaughter died in her sleep yesterday morning. Zubin was born a healthy Baby but when she was a year old she got a very high fever the doctor's couldn't get down. It left her with severe Brain damage. Please pray for my son and his wife. I never got to meet or hold my little Granddaughter. Not a good start for the new year. I am so devastated. I wished I could be in Germany with them to give them comfort.

Most of my LJ friends are around my age so I have a question for you. The last two nights i had my heart skipping some beats. It last for about 30 min on and off and I noticed my BP is higher during this time too. On each day it just happened once late at night. Does any one of you has something like this. And if yes how do you deal with this or are you being treated for this. I have anxiety disorders. So I do not know if it could be from that. I do have a doctor app on wednesday but it would be nice to hear what this could be. Thank you

Had to put my puppy yesterday to sleep. He was only six and a half year old. He had cancer on his spleen, liver and pancreas. We had him at home on meds so he would feel comfortable and not in pain. We where hoping to have him a few more month longer with us. He was spoiled big time the last couple of weeks. But yesterday he went down fast. So we took him in to put him to sleep. He was bleeding from the liver and had problem breathing. It is so hard and I am hurting so much. I miss him so much. Not a good start for the new year.
