Gay Pride
Woohooo, tomorrow is Gay Pride in Brighton, and it will be one long parr-taay!
I'm going down for the parade at 11ish, but I'm not sure I'll make it to the park for long as I have to go see Jojo.
Brighton is already full of couples, and the shops are bedecked in rainbow wind-thingies, flags, banners etc. There are also bubble machines out, filling some streets with beautiful sparkly rainbow bubbles floating amongst the shoppers.
The whole of Brighton just seems more cheerful.
Of course, there are the few who have something against pride and grumble about it, but I've thought long and hard about it and come up with the stunningly erudite response of:
FUCK THEM
If they don't want to have fun and party in the friendliest and most fun filled weekend of the year then let them stay at home and bitch to radio phone-ins.
Hmm...I don't have anything to wear though.
I shall post piccies asap, but may be a little absent over the weekend as Jojo's parents are around once I get there, so I can't be TOO anti-social ;)
