J and I are selling our flat (and trying to buy a new one!)
I'm basically oscillating between terrified and excited.
We just had our place valued (proper RICS valuation, not some spotty 16 yr old estate agent who has fewer qualifications than I do). The figure he's put on our flat frankly makes me want to puke.
According to his valuation, every single WEEK we have lived in this flat the value has risen by about £700. We've been here 4 years.
It's a small 1 bed flat - albeit in London. Who on earth will buy it?? (I mean, everything else has also gone up!!). He says it'll sell well....so we're waiting to see.
Obviously I want it to sell...and the price would be amazing. But....it's SO MUCH MONEY. I just worry no one will want it!!
So there we go. That's us. We're binning/selling everything we own and readying ourselves for a move, and viewings. I'll attempt to keep you guys updated.
