Smelly fingers...
....yes. That's what my working day consists off.
You see, we're using about a million tiny pieces of leather to make a huge decorative panel for a building in London.
We're using tiny, tiny bits of leather...some only 1 or 2 mm, to make a huge, huge panel. Well, 2 huge panels. One backlit, one not.
Here's some pics, of the tiny leather, and the patterns:

My hand...and one of over 100,000 bits of leather...notice the one long fingernail kept long especially for this job, as it's easier to poke tiny bits around with a fingernail!

Just some of the pattern - the bit closest obviously unfinished in this pic... that's 3 repeats out of the 41.
Each repeat takes just over 8 hours to cut and stick, at the moment. So... it'll take a while to do the 76 odd we need!

This is me working solid for 3 days, with another guy helping for 2 days... you can see there's a lot of plain panel to cover :)
Also, being in the middle of the panel right now means you have to work lying on your front, all day. Not a position that is particularly natural for 8-9 hours a day. I've been getting huge headrushes when I stand up :)
