The model, yeah!
So, we ...well, we haven't finished the model, but the opening has happened regardless. We did almost everything, but some things were issued to us too late, so we couldn't get them finished before the grand opening (read: massive piss up and party.)
Therefore there's no cable car, yet, and no aeroplanes, yet, but there will be. Sometime.
So here's some pics. Feel free to ask questions!
And if you're anywhere near Greenwich, it's free to go into. Right between North Greenwich tube and the Dome. Easy to find, free, and there's an amazing gallery right next to the model, with an 'intelligent skin' artwork on the windows, which works with the sun and wind on the peninsula. It's cool. In fact, have a pic of that first - but bear in mind it moves constantly, so a still piccy isn't the best way to see it!
So every one of those LCD panels goes clear/opaque as influenced by the wind putting electrical currents through them. It's very clever.
But on to the main event...
