Carphone warehouse are shit

Two weeks ago, overnight, from ten pm until at least 2am the Carphone Warehouse HQ opposite my flat decided it would be a really good idea to have a diesel cherry picker running while they changed their advertising banner on the front of their building.

I complained about the noise. To Carphone Warehouse and to Ealing Council.

Ealing called me up, said I wasn't the only complaint, and that they would be sending Carphone Warehouse a letter warning them about noise. Lovely.

Carphone warehouse said they would 'investigate'.

9 days later I emailed them again. They said they were still 'investigating'.

Just now they responded.

I imagined it. Yeah, it wasn't them. It was works on a hotel. (that i can't even see from my flat). This concludes their investigation.

Which rather misses the point that I WATCHED THEM DOING THE WORK. I watched them dicking about with the banner. They have a very secure carpark, in which this work was carried out.

So essentially, Carphone Warehouse are not just inconsiderate bellends who don't give a shit about the 400 odd flats that overlook them, but they also lie when people call them out on it.

I emailed back, very politely, I think, given that I'd like to just march in their and call them a bunch of lying arsewipes.

I wonder what their next response will be...
