Right, the deal is done (well, we have to go in and actually sign for it... but it's all been agreed.)
We were looking at a Toyota Aygo+ £9,135. To be fair, that's not a terrible price. It is a cheap car, and as such, doesn't come with a whole lot of features. But we like that - cheap to run and insure!
We've ended up 'shaking' on an Aygo Fire. List price £9,735. We're getting it for £8,735. Leather interior, alloy wheels, full mats, full tank of fuel, front fog lights, LED DRLs. But the main thing is we can have it first or second week of January - whereas the soonest we could get the + would be March!! So just owning the car will save us a few hundred more, because it's so much cheaper to run and insure and everything.
Yay! Now to find out how horribly expensive driving lessons will be!
I hasten to add, ours will be white, not bright orange! I don't mind the Orange, to be honest, but white is a bit more understated... and the interior doesn't come with white trim, it will all be rather more subdued than that!!
