It's been too long
Hello. Remember me? I'm here all the time - I read my flist every day! But I've really got out of the habit of updating.
I'm regretting it at the moment, as I'm trying to track back through my year and work out what I've done well (all because my Boss has fucked up paying me, and others, so I have to go back and check every hour I've clocked in for this year. So far, about £500 he owes me, plus two days of holiday.)
Luckily my photo files are date stamped! And I take a lot of pictures when I'm working away from the workshop, so I know where I've been each day.
So, brief update...life is stupidly busy, but I'm currently refusing all social invites because a. skint and b. no time! It's quite freeing, not feeling social pressures.
Jojo is feeling a lot better. He's swimming like a maniac - over 10,000 metres a week! And he's doing a training course to have a bit of a career change, now that he's finally feeling like he has energy back and is much brighter in himself.
My work...well, there are three of us now. Plus one temp and the boss. We have a lot of work to do.
Next year we're due to do two huge projects - one finished for June/July, the other for September. That will be...tight. I'm possibly due to work in Texas and Hong Kong, and someone has to go to upstate New York.
We're still desperate for staff, but no one vaguely qualified is applying.
I'm still writing - slowly, as ever, and currently all Sherlock stuff. (Lestrade/John or Lestrade/Mycroft - yayes!).
