a whole loada TMI coming at ya!
So, the coil. The lovely coil.
Having got over (and nearly forgotten) the AMAZING pain of having it put in...I do love it. No problems since. Not even cramping.
And now I'm having my first period in....YEARSSSSS. (12?) Yay! Yay because...well, hormone free!
Boooooo because ICK! I haven't missed these. They do say the coil can make periods heavier, but I really wouldn't know what mine might be like anyway. And, the worse thing (for me) is that you can't use a cup/tampons for 6 wks, at least. So it's pads all the way. And I HATE THEM.
I do understand they have their place in life, but I've never used them apart from the odd essential day. And now I'm using them and I don't understand why anyone would ever choose to. They're just....nasty. I've been tempted to use tampons and break the rules...but I haven't. And now (I think) I'm finally edging toward the end of my period. It hasn't been particularly heavy, I don't think, but it has lasted way longer than I remember mine doing before. but that's fine, should settle within a few months. I can't wait to be back on internal-blood-collection-devices!
Apart from that, I feel good. Feel like some of the things I was concerned about with the hormones have gone away (might be all in the mind - but I don't care!! Gone is gone.)
Anyway. Away from the TMI.
Tomorrow, I become one of three people in the world who can assemble and dismantle this sucker. And become its official guardian. We have two days to learn everything about it, install it - and then have to remember how to do it for a few months time, when the two of us from my company will have to do it ON OUR OWN. And from then on, wherever it goes, we go and build it. Should be fine.
Only worth three million pounds.
Loose change.
