Got that Friday feeling!

Lovely Friday.

So you guys liked the balustrade!






There y'go, first I put sections together, then the full panels. Now we have a whole lifetime of cleaning them up :D (It takes a long time to clean them.)

One of the reasons I don't like them is because when they go together there's just no...plan to it. Nothing joins on to anything else. If there'd been a little more planning it could've been nicer....

And today they angered me because I welded one, completely forgot that I had JUST finished, picked it up...thought a sharp end was prodding me in the stomach...and about thirty seconds later my poor confused body realised 'sharp' was actually 'hot'. It burnt through my fireproof overalls, my hoodie, my t-shirt, my vest top and was on the way through my skin. So have a nice blister on my stomach now. When you've worked with extremes of temperature for a long time you completely lose the ability to tell what's hot or cold.


We're also currently making Heston Blumenthal's ice cream trolleys, and some panels for various people. And sorting out one of these for display.

Variety is the spice, yeah?
