Be purposefully unpredictable!

Welding together hundred of small knitting needles. Knitting kneedles, I want to call them. Problem is, I'm a, trying to make a 3D shape by starting out making 2D pieces, b. I'm meant to be doing 'invisible welds' (they don't exist, Boss.) 'Oh, well welds you can't see then.' c. I have to make them look random. There's nothing harder than making things look random. Currenlty I'm doing it by throwing them up int the air and using their positions to determine how I stick them together. It's working. Sort of.

It's fun, but it's hard. And I have to clean up every weld really carefully before I weld layers together, because any burn from the weld will potentially make it obvious how they're joined, and they have to be joined by magic alone. Of course I'll have to put the final ones on with glue, because whilst I can hide the first welds, there will be no hiding the final ones. Hmmm.

It's very hard making someone else's vision come true.
