That boy needs therapy
Hmm...only got a nanowrimo word count of 4000 and something. And the computer's finally given up again...but my phonebill has increased almost exponentially by calling Apple Support. So now I'm going longhand, copying up when I can steal my flatmate's computer. But hey, on the bright side, how much easier is it carrying a notepad and pen around than a whole laptop? So, hopefully Scrumpy will be picked up and fixed in the next few days-and I'm sure Apple really love me now....
Okay, and what's the problem.
I'm very very pissed off. I got this computer in June and since then you've been repairing it for more time than I've been using it. As you can guess, now I'm trying to get it fixed for the third time, I'd actually like it fixed this time before you send it back.
Okay, what operating system are you using?
10.2.8
Okay, what I'm going to ask you to do is to find your softwa...
Don't even try telling me it's a bloody software problem I know it's not a software problem, every time you've said it is, it hasn't been, and it's still the same problem. What software problem could cause this many video-related faults? I've wiped the hard drive seven times, and the computer still crashes every time I pick it up. It's a laptop, I dont think it's unreasonable to want to pick it up. I've had two software upgrades and a new version of OSX sent to me-I doubt it's all got faults.
No, I can see that, okay it will be picked up in the next three working days.
Grrrrrrr.
Just a little pissed off. I was trying to nurse him through NaNoWriMo, but when it took me over half and hour yesterday before he would turn on without the screen going either black, or grey, or crashing I gave up.
Anyways-better go and write something. Must try to stop killing my lead characters when I'm only 2000 words through...not good for the plot, but good for my mood.
Ps. Anyone else on NaNoWriMo-leave you're name/novel title, then I can get jealous that you've all done more words than me, and read your excerpts
