BRIGHTON: Foolish, but not illegal.
Well, I spent this morning having a lie-in...didn't get out of bed until just gone 7am! And lazing about until I had to run to the bus to get up to the hospital in time for my appointment. And omg, RSC is a difficult hospital to find your way around!! I've worked there before, and I've never had as much trouble as I did this morning.

So, see where it says 'entrance'..right down here? That's the entrance. And I had to find my way to 'Level 5, Thomas Kemp Tower'...now, that doesn't look too hard. The big stonking arrow makes it look not hard. But ZOMG...I have to walk all the way around where the dotty arrows are and up the hill to Pathology and A&E, which is actually where TKtower, Level 5 is. On the ground floor, not in TK tower. Because Level 5 would be ::facepalm:: See, none of these buildings are really connected, it's like a mad rabbit warren.
Anyway, Back specialist now reckons my problem isn't actually in my back, but probably nearer my hip. And that makes me not his problem. Only been 2 years. No worries. MUCH. So now he reckons I'm pretty much stuck with the pain and I'm being referred to pain management. It actually makes me want to cry.
But on to happier things.

This is our scrap bin going bye-byes. It's just about to be tipped onto the back of the lorry. They drag it across the yard with the hiab, then lift it onto the truck, then refit the hiab onto the bottom lugs and pull it up. Yayes. And that's the new boy in his hiviz.
And, because of their past popularity...
First off, this is where I was talking about living, Urchin. 4 Grand Avenue.

I think it looks cool as you like.
Or we could live here...

This is Palmeira Square, folks. Just along the road from me. It's lovely.

See, that's the end of it, and on the far right of the pic is my building, with those distinctive stairways.
And here's more of the stairways...

That's from my back door.
As is this:

Some buried steps, to show the pebbles being pushed around:

And the newly-pebbled prom:

And again:

The lovely old pier:

The difference between Brighton and Hove. Hove finishes where my building is. Mine is the first building in Brighton. Notice the beautiful frontage of Hove vs. the mad mixture of Brighton...

And finally, a word of warning for all you slash writers:

I'm done.
