today started out bad...
...and got worse.
It took us TWO HOURS to get to site this morning...it's only 28 miles. TWO HOURS stuck in the freakin' van with the wind gusting up to 70-80 mph. We couldn't walk in it this morning, or open the van doors against it.
And then the entire is job is just going more and more wrong. Nothing fits.
We took five mild steel stair balustrades and eight stainless handrails for this stair.
One of the mild pieces was ok. EVERYTHING else we have had to cut apart and remake. (although we haven't even started cutting down the stainless yet)
We should have finished today, but tonight
And this is the 'clean site' where you must not tread ANY mud into the buildings and put on stupid smurf feet plastic overshoes. The huts and vans are the site buildings, where I am is near the door to the building. Small amount of mud between the two...
So despite not going to bed before 1am yet this week, once again I must get up at 5am tomorrow >_<
