Well, off to Brighton now...where Fatboy Slim is having 20,000 of his closest friends over for a beach party this afternoon. (Yes, a beach party...cold brrrrrrrrr). They reckon they won't have the problems they had last time, as this party is ticketed and for BN postcode-dwellers only. Pfffft, believe it when I see it.
Last time they thought 60,000 people would turn up. 250,000 people did. One person died and many had to be rescued by lifeboat as they were pushed into the sea by the crowds. It was choas. This time they've asked people to stay away - but I imagine a lot of people will turn up anyway.
They also haven't put ANY extra transport on. But considering the BN postcode is a pretty massive area, some people are still going to need to get home on it, and Bank Hol public transport leaves a lot to be desired.
Anyway, let's go and see what sort of chaos awaits...
