Hate is a very strong word...
...I hate shopping.
I hate feet.
I hate clothes shopping.
I'm really not too keen on fashion.
I hate girly shoes.
But O M G...I frickin' LOVE shoes shopping. When I see the perfect shoe it's like...o_O HOLY GRAIL.
Having said that, I own very few shoes. I have a pair of nike trainers, which I never wear because they're not wide enough for my feet. I have a pair of yellow boots that do up with huge metal shackles and I love them like they're my kids (had 'em since I was 15). I have a pair of red white and blue 'cartoon feet' shoes - they're HUGE. And I love them like they're my babies. I have a pair of 'smart' red and sky blue shoes that I wear when I need to be 'smart' (which is, liek..never)...and I have my everyday shoes, which are red and black and falling to pieces fast.
I need new shoes. For Canada. For general. So, I've been browsing my favourite shoes brands and popping into my favourite shoe shop for a few weeks now.
I have found the PERFECT BOOTS. They are...just perfect. And not in stock right now. Oh, and only available for order from the factory were they're made...in Spain...when they are in stock. Jojo hates them, but we've discussed it and I think I've talked him round.
Which leaves me to find and buy some everyday shoes. X2zee (the best shoeshop in the world, ever) will now be my local haunt, whilst I try on shoes a LOT. Luckily the guy who owns the place is lovely and really loves shoes, and stocks makes/styles that no-one else in the world does. Love it. New feet, here I come.
