...given the general state of the world, I know I shouldn't complain...but...
We pay £850/£900 rent per month to live in this flat...and we've just been told that whilst the heating system has drained down fine, and will be switched to the new boilers soon...our water system isn't so easy 100ish flats..all the water will go, then the plumbers will madly run about trying to attach all the new pipework.
We will have to live for around a week with only a standpipe on each floor.
Luxury flats, i tell you. Fucking luxury. Pride of Brighton. Envy of the rich and famous. Fucking STANDPIPE.
I am gonna ring a friend tomorrow and book in for using her shower during the changeover. I will not remove welding grime with a bucket of cold water.
