le weekend!
yup, the long weekend. Nice.
I'm at
jonboy1's, with him and his parents.
To start the saturday nicely, some of the evil little fuckers (children) who live around here, and whose parents would rather ignore them than instill any sense of discipline or respect into them, were out all last night. These kids are maybe 13/14, if that. And between 4 and 5 this morning they managed to steal all of the milk delivery for our shop and the co-op next door and empty most of over the cars/shops/pavement. Then they trashed the street, turning over the dustbins, throwing all the co-op's newspapers around etc.
I guess Jojo scared them off for a moment as he went down to open the shop at about 5, but then, once the shutters were up, they returned to throw entire plastic cartons of milk over the front windows. The impact shook the entire shop and flats and milk exploded everywhere.
Stupid little fuckers.
And the police? 'There's nothing we can do'. (Mind you, our crime number is around 370..which means that between midnight and 5 am there had been 370 crimes reported in our area...)
We have a fair idea who it was, but no proof. So.

In other news...the Ozzies seem to be collapsing badly in the Ashes test. England were 477 all out...the Ozzies are now 157-7.They may be playing follow on. They need 278 to make England bat again.
