So, rang the hozza, and on about the millionth attempt actually spoke to a person! Now have an appointment for July 1st, 9:30 am.
jonboy1, this means that I start our anniversary weekend being mauled by someone else!! I don't know how long it'll take, but I've warned work I'll be late in - this might also mean I need to pick my gear up from the flat after work, cos I'm not dragging it all up to the hospital with me.
When I came back from the 'phonebox' (a hidden area of our yard where everyone goes to talk on their mobiles), people, being nosey, wanted to know who I'd been talking to. I explained, and, in my explanation, discovered that I *thought* I was going up Kemptown to that Hozza, but in fact I need to go up the racecourse to the other one! (I've only lived here 5 years and been to both hospitals...how am i meant to know which is Brighton General and which is Royal Sussex County??) Anyways, now I will at least head for the right place...
I got a touch sunburned today, mainly doing lorries. It was sooo hot in our workshop today - us up the back workshop have it the worst, because to add to all the heat being kicked out by welding/tools/burning equipment etc, we also have a glass roof >.< I think our work rate has slowed considerably. I've only polished a handrail and a half (tricky returns on them though)
