True to his 'three things' meme, Jojo is cooking dinner :) He's so good to me.
Bob came into work on Friday lunchtime(He's the one who lost part of his finger at work a few weeks ago) It was fab to see him. His opening gambit:
Any of you squeamish? Look! ::pulls off his bandage to show is his now-stitched up finger end:: It's weird, there not being any 'end' on the finger - and it being so short now. It's still well swollen, but they smoothed off his bone end and closed the skin over where the finger ripped off, and although it's still really swollen up it looks surprisingly ok.
It did look a little too much like the sausage in Matt's sausage and egg baguette though...
I had SuperUrgentOMG job on Friday - and my materials didn't turn up until 2:30 pm. So I worked my butt off, doing everything I could without the delivery, then going crazy once it was in. I couldn't believe that it was suddenly a rush with no materials ordered in, when it's been sat rusting in the yard for almost 2 weeks now.
We only have three sorts of jobs: URGENT. VERY URGENT. AND OMGFUCKINGURGENT! Yet no-one ever seems to learn...
Today my bracelet broke :( it's a silver flattened curb chain, and I've not taken it off since I was 12. Now it needs to go in for proper repairs, as the clasp has disintegrated. I'm assuming someplace in the jewellery quarter of Brighton can help, but I don't want it changed much. And my arm feels really light without it.
