putting you out of your misery...

...not that you were probably in any.

So, an Oyster card is the new system for paying for using the Public Transport in London. It's a plastic card that's proximity-sensitive, so you just have to touch it on these pad-things to use it, instead of the old 'feeding-the-bit-of-paper-ticket-into-the-gate' stylee. And you can either get travel cards or pre-pay on it. I got pre-pay. At the end of each day it works out your journeys and charges you the cheapest fare possible - either a day travel card or singe journeys.

Two...

Yonks ago I did that 'favourite character/pairing meme...here be the results you guys didn't get:

Drop the Dead Donkey: Dave (Neil Pearson). Not only sexy, but beautifuly flawed.

Grange Hill: Tom Brisley (Adam Ray). The art teacher. Not only was art my favourite subject, but he was sexy (IMO) and he was openly gay. Cool.

Minder: Ray (Gary Webster). Closely followed by Terry, because I have no taste.

Buck Rogers: Unsurprisingly, Buck. (Gil Gerard) Yup.

So there. Now you know.
