Just got a phonecall - a wrong number - but OMG, a wrong number I've been waiting for!!
A whiles ago we got this answerphone message left...it was this oldish sounding woman pleading for 'Barbara' It was horrible, sounded like she was about to die. I think I posted about it at the time.
Anyway, today was this same woman!!! So she didn't die, like we thought. Good.
I must run in a second and get a bloody package that the postman took back to the sorting office.
Yesterday was somewhat bizarre at work (and not just because Gary wasn't talking to me for 5.5 hours ::rollseyes::)
At 0730 we all started the working day, clocked in, changed, kitted up etc...14 fabs/workshop folk and 10 fitters...by 0735 they'd made two fitters redundant...eek! Watching them hand over their van keys and kit was....weird.
We've been reassured that no fabs will be given the push...but I guess when you've basically just fired two people reassurance doesn't go too far.
Anyway, must run.
