At a length and a quarter Oxford can take Cambridge's water and cancel out any advantage on the Middlesex bends.
And they've done it! They've got a length and a half and have the water!
Cambridge has the dirty water of Oxford now and have lost the bend advantage.
Oxford are way ahead at Barnes Bridge - and still pulling away.
