Hi everyone! I am back from London. I understand I didn't remind any of you of my imminent holiday, but hey, it's like I am on hiatus all the time, and I figured I didn't have to warn you :D Anyway, we are back safe and sound and most of all happy. We planned the trip carefully and it turned out great, exception made for one full day of heavy rain, but hey, it's London! For those of you who would like to take a look at the pictures I took, I should redirect you to my Instagram account, because I love the app's new functionality of multiple selection and I decided to use it during the holiday in the form of a travel diary. It was fun to do and I guess it is fun to see as well. Also, if we haven't added each other on Instagram yet, this could be a chance for us to do that.

My favorite place was and still is Covent Garden: I bought candies for a friend of mine, a Jane Austen illustrated book for my sister, a teapot for my mum... I really think they will like their gifts!

I haven't got any significant updates on the TV show side. I still can't believe that The Vampire Diaries is ending on Saturday. I know I have complained about the show several times over the years, but I still grew up with it, it was like one of the first TV shows I started watching. Also, I can't remember if I told you I started Mr. Robot? I wasn't sure I'd like it but it turned out I love it and as soon as I finished the first season I went back and re-started it (those of you who watched it, you know why; those of you who didn't, do watch it!)

Because of the trip to London I didn't get to make any progress on my movie watchlist either. I am still planning on watching Moonlight as a top priority, and The light between oceans follows right after. Anyways, sometimes my boyfriend corrupts me into watching movies I have already watched LOL thus wasting a night I could have spent checking out a new movie...but last time it was to see Inglorious basterds, so it was totally worth it.

Last night I watched Logan!

It was as good as I expected but nowhere near the way I expected it to be. Sooo sad :( Patrick and Hugh will be both missed! I would have never imagined to see a movie so dark...

I want to express my deepest sympathy and affection to my German friends who must be living with particular dread and anxiety these moments, just as we have lived the past days of horror in France and in other parts of the world. I want you to feel my love as fellow citizen of this Europe that unveils its sickness more and more, day by day.

Chances are this is not directly linked to IS. What's sure is that terrorists are deploying and exploiting desperate people who are finding more and more ways to harm innocent people because they think this somehow justifies whatever injustice they have suffered in their life...

It is useless by now to say that we must not live in fear, because we do already. All we can do is to stay strong and close to each other, no matter what our ethnicity or our religion.
All we can do is to not let any Brexits or Trumps or Turkish dictators or fascist politicians or terrorists tear us apart. I wish most people understood that and worked towards that goal, however I see only distruction and self-interest and backs turned on people all around.

I am Italian but I won't forget I am also a European citizen as well as a citizen of the world.

How much am I fond of studying today? Less than zero. I can't take this anymore. These 3 weeks of study and nothing else have been killing me. Luckily I'm gonna enjoy a full week of holidays after 01/31 before classes start again, and then 02/20-23 London!!!!! (Heavy picspam incoming after that, wait for it)

I'm such a bad, bad girl. I studied hard yesterday only to end up not doing anything useful today. Cause really I've been surfing the Internet - and Lj, enjoying your wonderful entries :) - since I woke up this morning and done NOTHING for the German exam of next week.

After watching THIS vid about Skins US (which I recommend if you have no idea what I'm talking about), I'm pretty sure I'm not interested in it. I don't need to see Skins all over again, unless they're gonna end it in a less crappy way. But if not, I don't need any more crappy endings. Two series that ended in the shit are just fine.

Matthew Morrison wants Justin Timberlake to play his brother in Glee
I MEAN OMFGWTF how awesome would that be? Matthew and Justin look really alike and seeing both of them dance and sing would make my heart fail. What else would life be worth living for after that? And then, let's be honest, Justin hasn't published an album in years (while Matthew's new one's coming out in Feb 2011 I'm so gonna get it) and he's been getting small roles on the big screen, but what the hell could he ever be busy with apart from that, not to be able to accept such a great opportunity? I really can't see why the small screen is so underrated by American stars. People watch tv as much (no, more) as they watch movies at the cinema. Ok, maybe you get paid better for a cinema movie, but wth isn't the money they already made enough for these people to despise TV so much?
Ok, sorry bout the unpredicted rant.

I'm not studying that much. I don't feel motivated. All I'd like to do is read and watch tv shows.

I discovered this new band, it's called Klaxons. They're great! If you search for 'klaxons' on Youtube you'll get some songs, which are the ones I've been listening to. I love them!

*Yawn* Good morning sunshines!
I finally had a night of good sleep tonight! And I woke up half an hour ago and not at 8 am as usual! YAY me. This probably means there will be no time for studying this morning, but who cares! My next exam's in two weeks ;)

Last night I watched Waitress with my roommate. I'm so loving these cooking-based movies! It's like my secret dream was to become a housewife who spends her days baking for her loving family...Wait. This would imply having children and being married. Forget what I just said.

I'm having so much fun re-watching Glee's episodes which are being aired on Italian television - though I suffer hard for the bad work of dubbing they did. They changed Kurt's and Puck's name, pronouncing them in an absurd way that's so different from the original ones. Why, I ask?

Oh, AND. AND. Am I the only one who didn't know about this yet?

Aaaaaaaaand first week of exams' over :) The English oral test couldn't have gone better. Now I have two weeks to get ready for the German exams (which are going to kill me instead, no doubt about it).
My oral consisted in talking about Eureka Street, the book I read for the Hiberno English course, so it couldn't have been easier!

Now I plan on doing nothing till tomorrow morning, when my serious study will start (rrrrrrrrright.) and in the meantime I'll go on writing Everybody loves a vampire and probably post a new chapter, and then watch Grey's Anatomy and the tv show version of Eureka street. THere's something else in the back of my mind I should probably do but I can't remember what it is. Whatever.

I'm generally open to every kind of crossover, and I also think that crossing Supernatural and Twilight would be crack funny, but I can't stand those people who try to put together Bella and Dean. The first is just immature and childish and has just nothing to do with Dean, who's a very mature man who has gone through hell.

+ My homework marathon proceeds slowly. I should be putting effort into the preparation for this exam since it's the one I'm most likely to pass with no problems, I should focus so I get a good grade, you know? but it's just so underrated in my head that I don't feel like doing much. *hits her head* whatever. I'd better hurry up and go back to studying.

+ I watched TBBT and HIMYM last night. The Big Bang Theory wasn't so brilliant in my opinion. Scenes with Sheldon and Penny were usually great, but sometimes that's not enough, right? I liked HIMYM instead, it was a good episode, and I don't agree with those people who complained about the 'bad news' at the end of it. People said they watch HIMYM to laugh and they don't wanna hear about bad things. Guess what: HIMYM is realistic. And they have needs, like pushing the plot forward, just to say one. It can't always be good news. Guess what? That's life. Deal with it.

And by home I mean my apartment in Forlì - cause yeah, my parents' house feels more like an hotel to me! I've been treated as a special guest there :) It feels like I go on holiday to those Wellness hotels when they treat you like a princess and you have to do nothing as long as you stay, no washing the dishes, no making the laundry, no cooking anything for anybody... sigh. This is now just a memory, sadly.
As soon as I step in Forlì I'll have to go to the supermarket and restock my fridge, then make lunch and start studying T_T And probably get some sleep since last night I went to cinema with my friends (we watched Ma che bella giornata, it's an Italian movie starring an Italian comedian from Apulia, it was really funny!) and it was 1.30 am when I got home! And this morning I had to get up at 8 am =.=
At least I'll be alone at home since my roommate comes back tomorrow. YAY! She's a bit annoying and the less I have to share the house with her, the better.
Tv shows are starting again this week! YAY #2! Hope I'll be able to watch TBBT and HIMYM in the evening - I'm afraid Grey's will have to wait till tomorrow :)

+ Spent evening shopping at the mall :) I left home not knowing what the heck I needed to buy and ended up buying only a new wallet (which is cute tho).

+ Today the possible choices for the Erasmus for next year were released. Having a few minutes to check the Internet, I didn't have time to check them out yet. But I'm so anxious! Can't think of anything else but that. This erasmus thing scares the hell out of me. Why should I go study abroad for 3-4 months when I feel perfectly fine where I am? How come I keep coming to LJ to write almost every day since the beginning of the year?
Well, this is how my life would go if I hadn't such a bloody sucking everyday routine all the rest of the year. I hate not being able to take time to do what I like - but that's a problem of many I guess.

I'm also becoming more and more aware of my ~~addiction~~ dependency to the Internet. If I don't surf for a couple of minutes every day I feel lost. I feel like I'm failing some moral duties of mine. I feel like the world can't go on without all those things the Internet offers. I can't accept there are still areas in my country which are not yet provided with high speed Internet connection.
And my point is not that I should go into rehab, cause the real addicts are others. I don't feel like an addict. Like I said, spending a couple of minutes checking my email inbox and my facebook profile (but not necessarily every day) is enough for me (I start to feel the real loss only on a long-term basis). Whatever. Do you guys feel the same? :D

Being Internet-less for a couple of weeks has led me to write and read more. I've been reading Eureka Street for an English exam and I'm loving it :) It just makes me adore Ireland more than I already do. Also I watched The Golden Compass which aired on TV a few nights after Christmas and I fell in love with it. I've always been of the fantasy-loving geek, but everything seemed to be disappointing when compared to Harry Potter. Finding out that I still liked other stuff, like Narnia, made me well disposed towards The Golden Compass and so I watched it. I was really intrigued by the movie and, having heard they're not going to produce a movie sequel anytime soon, I'm planning on reading the books now. I'll start as soon as I finish the ones I'm reading for those university exams of mine.

Boring weekend behind, nice week ahead - nothing special, just lessons, but with my f-r-i-e-n-d-s :)))

Been watching some tv shows - but less than those I dld! - and I'm just very glad to say that Grey's Anatomy is (almost) as brilliant as a couple of seasons ago! I'm so happy, watching season 6 I was in pain all the time cause it just didn't feel like Grey's! But season 7 has been great so far! Good job, Shonda - now don't ruin anything.

Also, big things for us to come on TVD and GG! Yes, I read some spoilers - I rarely do that - and I'm not gonna tell you anything unless you ask me to, but it's some pretty good stuff :)

Hey lovelies! I'm writing from Forlì, I took my German exam today (at last) and I passed it with a very good grade! YAY! I'm so happy and glad I'm getting some time to relax now.

On Sunday I'm gonna move out from the apartment I currently live in, it's gonna be a tough day, I've got so much stuff to carry! Luckily my sister's gonna be there with her car, but I still will be having a hard time packing things up! Wish me luck -.-

Busy tv shows week this is, isn't it? TBBT, GA and PP are starting again tonight, and then Supernatural tomorrow!

I've got a couple of reviews now.

Nice premiere after all, the songs were awesome as usual (though I've heard some people disagree) and I was happy to find again all the fellahs! Sue's the best, I missed her jokes and tricks, and I'm glad Will found himself again in the end (together with a new Sue's recipe on a red plate - BIG EWWWW). Rachel was a little annoying too, all that denial was useless since everyone of us understood from the very beginning what was all about. Rachel's been making the same mistakes and saying the same things from the start of the show, they really need to change her attitude in any way or her character won't come out of it well. Also Finn, so cute! And no Puck/Quinn? shame! :)

I was able to start watching GG only today but at least I could watch two episodes in a row! I couldn't have resisted one week after season premiere's ending! Well it comes easy to say that this new season'S GONNA BE GREAT. The premiere was just great: the Paris shots, the shops, seeing everyone back again, seeing Chuck alive (not that I had any doubt but seriously, I love the guy, along with Vanessa he's my favourite character) and the soundtracks...amazing! Of course Milo's not Dan's son but I'm already in love with that baby, hope he sticks out for some episodes or for good, Dan's so good a daddy! And I'm so glad he and Vanessa are back together! They make a great couple. And the Chuck/Blair scene: so heartbreaking ;( Will they ever make it back together? Hope so. Must be. Right? RIGHT?
Also God Josh Schwarz strikes again: I squeed so very hard when I saw Katie! YAY! Too bad she's playing the bitch - yeah I know she played an evil character in SPN too but this time she's just the cheating and lying bitch I can't stand. Sorry Katie, I'm sticking to Serena's side this time! About that, I'm sure Carter or that other guy from last season's behind this - plotting with Juliet, I mean. Can't wait til we see! XO XO

Hi there Livejournal! How are you keeping? Me, I'm deeper and deeper in the tunnel of depression. I can't stand here anymore. My village would lead to suicide anyone. I don't know what's wrong with me - oh yes, wait, I'm bored. I couldn't download any tv shows lately cause not only I have no connection at home (as you all know since I kept saying that all month - and yeah, it's a month since I came back from Ireland, congratulations girl), but now even my sister's won't do, I don't know why, it's just so slow and the streaming doesn't work. I only have those tv shows left that a friend of mine kindly dlded for me - which is seasons 4 and 5 of Desperate Housewives, season 4 of The Tudors and the amazing Band of Brothers.

Speaking of. I LOVE IT. And I was sure I was gonna love it, but doing it, loving it, it's just so exciting and great. I really didn't think i could like something about war and yet I enjoyed every single minute of it. Blithe, Lt. Winters, Skip, Buck, Roe, Bill, Buck, I love them all already. I'm halfway thtrough the one and only series and I don't want it to end. What am I gonna do next? Oh yes, dive into the fandom. Which I know exists but it's very small, right?
Oh Jesus, I really adore it. Just to name a few, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks are executive producers. And David Schwimmer from Friends is in it too. And Richard Speight Jr., you know, the Trickster from SPN? It's great how I keep finding actors I know here and there and recall their previous roles. I love doing that, I feel so satisfied with myself when I recognize someone, lol. Also it was a shock to see Matthew Settle (sweet daddy from Gossip Girl) playing the cold and heartless Nazi-killer in BoB. I think playing the evil and dark part suits him though.
And then we had a one-episode appearance of JAMES MCAVOYYYYYYY! He was so young! But I was sure it was him when I saw him!

(I spotted someone else that really shocked me, but that was on DH's season 4. When I saw that Mike Delfino's father was indeed Mr. Petrelli from Heroes I nearly fainted.)

That's it, there's no real news except for my angry/ecstatic ranting AND the fact that lessons at my university won't start before October 4th :) YAY!

Oooh, Mondays are so great when you don't have to go to school! (You high school/university/currently working guys can hate me now, I deserve it)
But actually I have to study so it's not that I'm enjoying that much. I'm here at my sister's babysitting too, but right now my only 'job' is to watch The Wizards of Waverly with my niece (~~and jesus christ i like it~~!!!!).

Watched Merlin yesterday. It was a great premiere, though Morgana's betrayal was obvious from the very beginning. And I hate the way they make her evil!smile all the time! Okay we get it she's evil and sadic now she enjoys seeing other people suffering, it's not that she has to put on that evil grin all the time! Anyway I'd missed Arthur & Merlin ** Someone make a .gif of Arthur hitting Merlin off with his sword!

Finally uploaded the fanmix, though I had a hard time using Photobucket and Imageshaft. I had to use Tinypic, can you believe that? I don't know what's wrong with Photobucket, I hadn't used it in ages. Anyway, that's none of your problems. Enjoy :)
