The District of Sooke responds to bylaw concerns to help maintain a safe, healthy, and respectful community. Anonymous complaints cannot be accepted; valid contact information is required so staff can follow up if more details are needed.

Bylaw concerns are addressed on a priority basis, with higher-risk health and safety issues receiving the quickest response. Whenever possible, the District uses an education-first approach to compliance, working collaboratively with residents and businesses to resolve issues before enforcement is required.
