How do I cite in IEEE?

Answer

Note that the IEEE database citation generator generates an IEEE formatted citation as the standardized format. Refer to your instructor for guidance on using APA or IEEE citations in your coursework. If required to cite in APA format when using IEEE, use the information provided in the IEEE citation to reformat in APA.

Example:

IEEE Citation:

E. A. Alamoudi, "From a Binary Feature Matrix to Correlation Analysis: A Dual-Paradigm Classification of Global Robotics Research Objectives," in IEEE Access, 13, 156318-156358. https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.20253604842

IEEE citation reformatted as an APA citation:

Alamoudi, E.A. (2025). From a binary feature matrix correlation analysis: A dual-paradigm classification of global robotics research objectives. IEEE Access, 13, 156318-156358. https://doi.org/10.1109/ACCESS.20253604842

If you choose to use a citation tool, be sure to double-check your citations for accuracy. You are still responsible for ensuring you are using the appropriate format.  Check the APA Style Guide for more information, or visit the APA Style website
