  Majella Mungovan is vice-president of business services Meta, where she leads the Global Financial Operations teams. Meta, a Fortune 50 technology company, achieved the milestone of reaching $100 billion in revenue faster than any company in history. Since joining Meta in 2014, Majella has played a pivotal role in scaling financial operations to support the company’s extraordinary growth.

  A passionate advocate for AI, Majella has spearheaded the development and adoption of some of the most advanced tooling solutions in the industry. Before joining Meta, she gained valuable experience at Microsoft and began her career in audit at Deloitte.

  Majella serves on several international Meta boards. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Galway and a Master of Accounting from the University of Dublin. She is also a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

  Riccardo currently leads a global program leveraging GenAI to create analytics products to enable faster and better investment allocation decisions through real-time analytics. His responsibilities involve creating and running the strategy, development and operations of the genAI solutions development and deployment, leading the global delivery roadmap, managing change, adoption and communications across the program and partnering with key stakeholders at the Corporate and commercial market level to drive value.

  
  In his previous role as vice-president of Finance capabilities and talent pipeline, he worked across the Finance organisation to drive the new capabilities development agenda, drive the various talent programs and initiatives (from early to established talents), and develop the digital roadmap for finance. He is also a qualified coach helping people in their career development.

   

  He was previously vice-president finance, global manufacturing and supply chain in, in charge of manufacturing sites across the US, Europe and Asia.

  His previous responsibilities as vice-president of commercial finance for GSK USA included driving performance and strategic allocation of resources, with a particular focus on planning and execution for key new product launches.

  Beforehand he served as chief financial officer in the China/Hong Kong region, where he created a share service centre for the area.

   

  Previously Riccardo worked at Eli Lilly, acquiring emerging markets experience as chief financial officer of Mexico. Prior to that, he led various initiatives in Eli Lilly Europe, such as planning and executing the outsourcing of financial processes for the region, streamlining processes as regional P2P process owner and Six Sigma Black Belt, setting up and running a customer intelligence team for the European critical care team in Switzerland.

   

  Prior to joining the healthcare industry, Riccardo worked in FIAT’s corporate strategy and business development function for the automotive industry.

   

  Riccardo holds an M.B.A from INSEAD, graduated in Business & Economics from the University of Torino (Italy), earned a diploma of International Business from the University of Dublin, and received an International Business Strategy certificate from the London School of Economics.

Currently serving as CFO for European Commercial & Marketing at a leading multinational, Alexander has managed multi-billion-dollar P&Ls, led cross-border teams, and delivered sustained value through innovative financial strategies, as well as organizational and digital transformation.

   

  Alexander’s expertise covers end-to-end financial management, manufacturing and supply chain optimization, planning and supervision of major capital projects, and product innovation finance for iconic brands such as Pepsi, Lays, Doritos, and Milka. He has successfully led large-scale transformation initiatives, including shared service transitions, multiple system designs and implementations, digital process automation, and the implementation of advanced analytics to maximize advertising ROI. 

   

  His career spans senior CFO, FP&A and other finance roles in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America, including pivotal leadership during geopolitical crises and major business turnarounds. He is recognized for his ability to build high-performing teams, manage through geopolitical and market disruptions, integrate major acquisitions, implement robust governance frameworks and foster collaboration across diverse cultures.

   

  Alexander holds a Master’s degree in International Business from the University of Vienna and is fluent in German and English, with additional proficiency in French and Hungarian. He brings a proven track record of board-level impact, deep consumer goods experience, strategic vision, and operational rigor to organizations seeking transformative leadership.

  Thomas Harr is the chief economist and head of economics and monetary policy at the Danish central bank.
