With MSI ECO Center you can physically cut the power to unused chips to save up to 17% power usage. It supports all CPUs like any other motherboard. You can turn peripherals ports on/off, turn LEDs on/off or turn PCI slots on/off. The program lets you save to BIOS and make default configuration.
