{"id":1065,"date":"2015-09-15T15:49:27","date_gmt":"2015-09-15T15:49:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ecmiindmath.org\/?page_id=1065"},"modified":"2025-11-20T15:34:00","modified_gmt":"2025-11-20T15:34:00","slug":"conference","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ecmiindmath.org\/conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ECMI conferences are promoted by the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #a9772b;\"><a style=\"color: #a9772b;\" title=\"ECMI\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ecmi-indmath.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">European Consortium for Mathematics in Industry<\/a><\/span> with the aim to enforce the interaction between academy and industry, leading to innovation in both fields. Held every two years (except for 2026 &#8211; an effect of COVID) they are one of the main forums where significant advances in industrial mathematics are presented, bringing together prominent figures from business, science and academia to promote the use of innovate mathematics to industry. They also encourage industrial sectors to propose challenging problems where mathematicians can provide insight and new ideas.<\/p>\n<p>The next ECMI conference will be held from 29 June \u2013 3 July 2026 at <a href=\"https:\/\/ktu.edu\/\">Kaunas University of Technology<\/a>, Lithuania.
