My 777th entry (statistically) is dedicated to my ultimate holy grail collection. I'm terrified to imagine my life today if it wasn't for Kamio-sensei's creations.

The story behind it is just as beautiful as it looks (XD). It began in Akihabara, after which 12kg were lugged through to Shinjuku where it began a two month journey to Melbourne. It ended in Shibuya when the missing piece was found. The story was documented and supported by Ria.

OHMYGAWD this was like the MOST PERFECT ArashixRyo-centric episode anyone could ever hope for! Ryo is super happy and childish and cheeky and CHATTY throughout. He was absolutely grinning nonstop. ^_^ He and Aimiya totally stole the show. I feel bad for the rest of the Zenkai Girl Team because Ryo really took the spotlight on their side - haha. Arashi looked like they had a lot of fun with the Zenkai Girl uchiwa. n_n

♥ This is my new therapy. (I originally starting this entry about a month ago...) I've printed out many Japanese lyrics for now and I find it very therapeutic to just scribble away on them. I started with this one (a month ago but still haven't posted it) because it's dedicated to Ria, who loves this song but not as much as "Hoshi wo blah blah", and behind my family, she's probably the one that puts up with me the most. Thank you, Ria. For putting up with me and listening to me talk about things I can't say to anyone else. This song also has many warm memories for me~ :) It does make me cry sometimes. I tried for this to sound as "casual" in English as possible, so it’s far from literal. Well anyway, this is my interpretation.

➟ I don't guarantee accuracy in any form because Japanese is not my native language, and I just fail at Japanese to English in general. Original meaning is only retained in the original language. English also tends to make less and less sense when I translate things.

✖ I'm not letting myself sleep until I finish this post. T_T

✖ Those brilliant BRILLIANT concert reports I'm used to reading... people who write them have TALENT. Because I couldn't even remember the full setlist, let alone costumes and other details. OMG therefore this is going to suck but I'll milk every last drop of memory out of my stupid brain. :D

Was invited along to karaoke which started at 1:30-ish. :) T'was fun. But they didn't have ANY GReeeeN or NEWS (cry) and didn't have AI's Story. Sung a fair share of JJ Lin for the occasion. Finished at 6pm and tried to find dinner. Ended up having Nando's. Then we trained to Southern Cross and walked down to Convention Centre with caution. :P It became obvious that we were at the right place because there were heaps of Asians... oh and JJ Lin's promo poster. XD We took photos with it! But I don't have the photos... I need them!!! Someone give them to me!

The concert was scheduled for an 8pm start but I was still in the bathroom line like two minutes before that! We ran to our seats once I finally left the bathroom, but the centre was maybe only a quarter full. Haha, fashionably late. :P The Melbourne Convention Centre seats 4500 people which is reasonable for Melbourne. It wasn't toally full... maybe under 4000, because the VIP section was virtually empty. There was a JJ Lin paper bag with advertisements from sponsors and a one-time glowstick for every seat. Good thing about the glowstick because I can't imagine a concert without crowd lights! And I didn't have anything. Anyway our seats were $99 Gala Seating B 158-159 (it was just me and Shoe together XD). We were almost near the very right of the centre (looking towards the stage) and right behind the VIP rows... (row B... two behind). Good seats but the centre was nice and small anyway (although I'm sure the balcony had a slightly harder time seeing). It's certainly no Tokyo Dome or Kokuritsu so even the farthest distance isn't too bad. XD I was happy with our seats. ^_^

I will skip over fan behaviour because I know no one agrees with me and I spent the whole night raging and ranting into the early hours of the morning with the one person that cares anyway. (Thank you!) I'm oversensitive, okay? I know that. I'm over it and I don't want to remember it.

Just before the concert started, while the lights were already down, Shoe had this awesome epiphany: if you put two glowsticks together they make "X"! GET IT? How JJ-LIN-100-Days is THAT?! Bwahaha. We be so cool, man~

Music finally came on around... 8:20-ish? I wasn't looking at my watch, really. But funny thing is I saw JJ Lin tweet to some Brazilian fan when I got home, and the time was somewhere around 8 when HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN STARTING THE CONCERT. XD Ahaha. Imagine that, tweeting himself late to a concert! XD Anyway...

JJ LIN STARTED THE CONCERT WITH CAO CAO!!! GAWDAMMIT THANK YOUUU. That just... I was so thankful and grateful already. I nearly burst into tears actually. It is a PRECIOUS song and I feel it's one of the few songs that deserve to open a JJ Lin concert. AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. The piano intro just KILLS me every time because it's so deceptively simple and innocent and just gorgeous. He sounded AMAZING.

The set list will be separated into "segments"...

01 曹操 (Cao Cao) 彡 His dancers were on stage doing their thing and he appeared after a few lines of the opening verse. I think. Or he may have even appeared only in or after the first chorus! I remember everyone screaming but not knowing where he was because he wasn't even there at the start, though we could hear his voice. XD The build-up was a killer. XD The live band sounded REALLY GREAT btw, I'm really glad they used a live band that was as good as they were. The arrangements were really good. I freaking love this song and everything sounded so good and shit, it's JJ Lin! I was tearing.

02 背對背擁抱 (Bei Dui Bei Yong Bao) 彡 He took off the cape-thingy. I remember him introducing (saying the title) of this song, but I don't remember if he greeted us at this point... hm. I think he would have. He sung with the mic on a stand for this song. It was pretty~ :) Typical JJ Lin ballad.

03 豆浆油条 (Dou Jiang You Tiao) 彡 This song was on my extended wishlist! He's such a sweetie for singing this little piece. <3 I love it. :D Always have. This is especially popular among Shanghai-nese fans for obvious reasons haha. I started tearing during this song again. I mean, second album, gaiiiz! My journey started with this album and I would take this album to my grave - I love it so much. Any song from the second album is priceless. He took the mic off the stand and walked around on stage singing this song. :) He also threw around posters here, I think? Also when I started almost crying, I was thinking "the hell is wrong with me, srs. Pull. Self. Together. Now. Geez."

04 由你選擇 (You Xi Xuan Ze) 彡 Came out after costume change break. Ahaha here we come with a track from Sixology. Generally not familiar with them back to front. :P This included dancing. The arrangement for this was quite different and more of a mix with the next song. Thus the transition was freaking awesome.

05 不潮不用花錢 (Bu Chao Bu Yong Hua Qian) 彡 Like I said, transition was smooth as. Couldn't feel it at all. He had these big "things" dancing with him. It was weirdly cute but still... mostly weird. Haha~

They showed a VTR of other artists giving their support for JJ Lin's Melbourne Concert: Harlem Yu, Angela Zhang (I freaked the living daylights out and may or may not have poked Shoe rather hard <3), Jay Chou (place went nuts), Ah Sa/Charlene Choi ("Don't you dare sing Xiao Jiu Wo with any other girl or I'll get jealous") and Jolin Tsai. I don't think I forgot anyone... ^^;; Why was there no Elva? Geez~ XD JJ Lin then talked a bit... ohmygawd I don't remember what he said. I think he talked generally about his musical career, how happy he was to be in Melbourne for the first time for a concert, and he gradually led in to talking about how there were two people who really influenced his career especially as he was starting out. The crazy girls behind me were doing nuts with "Leehom, Jay Chou" and I mentally wanted to hit them (they were annoying throughout the whole concert, talking nonstop). JJ Lin just went like "well I'll just introduce them through music" and launched into a cover of two Jacky Cheung songs. Then he was like "yeup, Jacky Cheung". Then he took off his jacket and launched into something I was semi-expecting (there's a tribute to this guy in every single concert these days); Michael Jackson. He sung You Are Not Alone (;_____;) and it was gorgeous. Then he sung and danced to Beat It. He had the whole MJ aura going... it was so cute. XD He said "Thank you" in a whispery, airy, MJ-y way. :P I recorded almost all of You Are Not Alone (after I recovered from practically dying) and some of Beat It to video but it's like 3minutes and over 500MB. Gosh darnit. T_T It's a weird format and I can't even audio rip it. Sheesh.

Next he had a guest come from Bei Jing... the very new and pretty unknown Zhang Jin. She chatted and sung the title song from her debut album while JJ Lin changed, and then JJ Lin came back out after she got freaked out hearing his voice without knowing where he was. "Your back looks really good from here!" XD They sung the song that Charlene Choi had warned JJ Lin not to sing with another girl in the VTR. :P I actually don't like this song but the crowd went nuts~ LOL

01 小酒窩 (with Zhang Jin) (Xiao Jiu Wo) 彡 I really don't remember much. They walked around hand in hand.

VTR shown of photographs (did he take these?) of some of the third world countries (yes?), with a young boy's voice singing Ma Ma De Na Lu Wan in the background. The messages on the screen were about treasuing the earth and stuff. JJ Lin then came out to the piano (new costume)! He talked and encouraged us all to not take the earth for granted and likened the relationship to mother and child. "Love the earth as one would love their mother..." He's so good at cueing into his songs. XD

07 媽媽的娜魯娃 (Ma Ma De Na Lu Wan) 彡 Him and the piano. This was beautiful.<3

He continued talking along that theme. And basically ended up with: as long as we each do something, there's nothing that can't be achieved in this world. "As long as there's love, there's hope"... actually he used the exact words in the title of his next song. Again, brilliant cueing. XD

08 愛與希望 (Ai Yu Xi Wang) 彡 Same as above. Absolutely beautiful. <3

He then said again how happy he was to be in Melbourne for a concert, and he hopes we'll always ALWAYS REMEMBER this day. He's sure that with the next song, we'll definitely REMEMBER. (So obvious what song it was going to be XD)

10 記得 (Ji De) 彡 I didn't know this was a really famous A-mei song and I didn't know JJ Lin wrote it, without other people telling me. The crowd went nuts and was able to sing most of it, as he let them. ^^

10 翅膀 (Chi Bang) 彡 I'm not entirely positive this goes here... I feel like it does but I can't remember how he got from the piano to standing up for this song (and I don't mean just standing up XD). There seems to be a mental block here... But anyway, he introduced this as a really old song from back in the first album. Of course we knew what it was. I nearly burst into tears on the spot. I grabbed Shoe's arm and may or may not have seriously harmed her arm through my flailing and gibberish. Gawd. This just made my LIFE COMPLETE. Everyone sung along and it was beautiful. *tear* <333 This was the only first album track he sung~ but this is an expected song. :P SUNG MY HEART AND LUNGS OUT. <333

Dancers did a dance segment. It was pretty messy... hurt my eyes a bit. I didn't like it. They threw posters again. JJ lin then came up in a new costume. And I flipped out because his jacket was. EXACTLY. THE. SAME. AS. THE. ONE. ARASHI. GAME. MATSUJUN. AT. THE. FAMOUS. 090830. KOKURITSU. CONCERT. HYPERVENTILATE MUCH?! WHAT ARE THE CHANCES?!?!??!?!?!?!?!? I had such a hard time getting a clear picture but I'm 99.9999% sure. I watched every detail of the jacket on screen and then analysed MatsuJun's as soon as I got home. It's the same, I tell you. FREAKING HELL~~~ XD Most unexpected fandom crossover moment~!

11 主角 (Zhu Jiao) 彡 I couldn't put song to name here, and Shoe saved me when I messaged her next morning. <333 THANK YOU SHOE! This was a kind of "mix" again of three songs, with very different arrangements. Lots of dancing. I know JJ Lin says he's not a great dancer and I agree that he's quite average, but he still tried his best and it was really entertaining. The music was phenomenal~! Really! So impressed with the band. The mixed arrangement for these three songs were so awesome!

12 殺手 (Sha Shou) 彡 This transition was most impressive because the two differ so much. BRILLIANT. <3

13 ___ Okay this is the poor song Shoe and I both don't know. It was another I couldn't put name to song. T_T I have a few possibilities but my memory's worse than when I listened through my playlist after the concert (I got really confused listening to so much). So I give up here. Don't know the song. Sorry.

Introduced and thanked his dancers (he forgot/didn't know one of their names). Then he introduced his band. Of course he introduced the MASTER, last. The king. I call him the king because he is without doubt the KING of concert bands. He's an absolute legend. I hail you. I screamed and clapped for him. <3 If he's commanding a concert, it'll be a good concert. Legend.

14 江南 (Jiang Nan) 彡 Very very very VERY POPULAR (and special) for Shanghai-nese fans (so me included! :D) and without doubt the break-out song in his career. <3 I can't not love it. XD Funny enough I have barely any recollection of this. =XXX

15 第幾個100天 (Di Ji Ge 100 Tian) 彡 Of course, right? :P Powerful song but I can't believe he didn't play the piano at all or even use it as a prop! It was sittting there since the piano segment, in the middle of the stage. It was odd. :P

"I hope this will last another one thousand years..." XD

16 一千年以后 (Yi Qian Nian Yi Hou) 彡 Thank you for your beautiful music, beautiful voice and for being a beautiful person.

Slowly left after the concert was over. Our glowsticks had outlived their lives. :( But they worked hard and served their life purpose at a JJ Lin concert. ^_^

It's surprising that there were 5 tracks from Sixology, so I definitely wouldn't say it was close to my ideal setlist, but he covered 4/7 of my absolute favourites. The concert was short... but I guess length and the flow is much harder for soloists. Overall, his voice was stunning. He's another artist who will make everything sound even better live. He brings the music to life. Few artists have this quality... you don't get sick of it, and even if it's songs you dislike, you can love the live version. The band was also super duper fabulous. Loved them.

GREAT GREAT GREAT NIGHT! My first Asian pop concert! I was saying how funny it was that it turned out to be JJ Lin, after all the years I was so determined for my "first concert" to be so-and-so or so-and-so. XD Haha. Thank you JJ Lin! Thank you for entering my life. n_n

♥ OMG HOW DOES KOYAMA NOT BURST HIS LUNGS WHEN HE'S YELLING ACROSS THE FIELD LIKE HE IS? <3 This is a super rushed write-up, and probably lots of errors and outright mistakes. When the four of them (or even two of them) are talking together, I kinda go @_@ . There were also mumbles I was unable to distinguish and other little lines skipped over (my listening was always fail). UM, HOW is it that Shige is teased and bullied no matter where he goes? Even the TV voice-over and inanimate objects seem to mock him. Oh Shige~ <3 I still love the pointlessness of this show. *squishes them* I'm so sleepy now... I know a lot of this is off... apologies.

♥ This was surprisingly more enjoyable than I had anticipated. :) I still REALLY don't get the point of this show and worry about the life span, but this first episode was pretty fun mostly because the boys were pretty much ambushed into running across Tokyo to their press conference. I realise that subs have already been released while I was about halfway through, but I wanted to finish what I started. Translations are my understanding. I've definitely been staring at the computer too long... I'm seeing stars. *_*

♥ This song is my therapy at the moment while I try not to think about what is going on with me. I'm really glad I sat for the past hour or two to put the lyrics down as a whole. For the first time I feel like I really grasped the lyrics as a whole piece (even if just in my head, and there are still lots of technicalities that confused me... but the point is, WHOLE PICTURE XD). 5x10 is amazing, but honestly the hidden meanings and word imageries were quite a struggle and I don't think I grasped it at all. Mandarin songs I translated years ago didn't really register for me either. ^^;; Favourite lines are "一歩一歩　前に進んでても　ずっとずっと迷い続けていても | このときより大切な何かを掴むために俺は生きてんだ". ✖ Played by ear. Originally just fiddled with the notes in the intro BECAUSE THEY'RE GORGEOUS but then had a play with the chorus. Just the intro and then chorus repeated twice - no joining verse and no ending so it's very abrupt and messy. Also my rhythm is JUST TERRIBLE, it's shocking. ;_; Apologies for rhythm, mistakes, inconsistencies and piano not being tuned for yeaaars. Everything's really messy and I seem to change it every time I play it but this is the only take where there were no noise distractions in the background. XD Also stopped listening to the song for reference, so it mostly becomes free playing. ♥ The more I listen to this song, the more I love it. It's endearing in that Johnny's way and there's a grandness that's humble in the way that symbolises Arashi's 10 years. The product song is from Arashi, for the fans, thanking the fans. So today I finally sat down to read the lyrics suddenly wanted to translate it, and the further on I went, the more emotional I got. It's the first time that I've cried over a set lyrics. Every line is thoughtful and so touching - just so beautiful. My favourite lines are "ここに立っている　僕たちが今 | 輝けるのは　君がいるから | 五人でいるずっといる" because they're really poignant. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if I had entered the Arashi fandom instead...

♥ For the life of me, I have no idea when Arashi's official anniversary date is! Is it the date they were announced, September 15? OMG someone needs to tell me because this piece of slightly important information is alluding me!

So. TOTALLY. Recommend. This. Clip. SS501 vs A'ST1. MAJOR. ROFL-ing. I can't stop watching it. XD

This is the first time I've actually seen A'st1!
Why are there Girls Generation posters all over the studio? XD
SS501 pop by as A'ST1 are practicing dance, and they sit down to eat.
Hyunjoong passes on awesome brotherly advice to A'ST1 as a senior - to show collarbones.
They decide to play that game that used to be on Xman... where one team has to "leap-frog" over the other team... kinda hard to explain. (But see. some. examples.)
Double S boys are going to be leap-frogging, so they practice their jumps. Jungmin, bless his socks, manages to rip his pants.
Watch the boys ROFL and piss themselves laughing as Jungmin is promptly whisked away to fix the problem. The boys are almost crying of laughter. (And so am I) And then worry their own pants might rip. A'st1 are all like ^^;;~
So then starts the game. Youngsaeng is first and almost falls off, if not for Jungmin's butt pushing him back on. XP
But in the end, it all comes down to paper scissors rock, and A'ST1 win.

kame owns owns owns gokusen2

I snagged Gokusen 2 off Shoe last week after previously having sworn I would never watch the dorama. XD I guess Kame just wins me over... cos some time ago, I suddenly decided I wanted to watch it. I haven't finished a drama so fast since... ihavenoidea! Maybe not since 1L of Tears! Erm anyway. Kame totally owned my soul the whole series. Everytime he was on screen, I could hardly be bothered with the story (which isn't that great... but not horrible. Just... the fighting was so repetitive, and everyone had amazing recoveries from being bashed up literally daily ^^;;) and just oggled him and HIS HAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kame's hair in Gokusen 2 is so aklsdjfmncvmnkroiukjnsdkjfhkjhdf. Shining beacon of every scene. XD Oh my freaking goodness! <3 Shinde kita~! All in all, I love the idiocity - to the point of almost being ridiculous, of Gokusen 2, the whackiness of Yankumi (she was SO awesome!), the ghei of Jdorama, and the absolute pretinness of Kame. And for that, I would recommend the dorama to the next person who doens't mind those thing. =D

Srs Kame is so pretty, sometimes I want to die. Feel the Kame aura~ and die with me. I swear I wouldn't even consider myself a fan of Kame, but I really have a freakishly weird obsession with him. *needs to come to senses*
