Our Services
The Financial Empowerment Center offers professional, one-on-one financial counseling at no-cost to Roanoke, Lynchburg, and NRV area residents. Our financial counselors can assist with money management, budgeting, reducing debt, establishing and improving credit, connecting to safe and affordable banking services, building savings, and referrals to other services and organizations.

Schedule a No-Cost Session with One of Our Counselors
One-on-one financial counseling is held over the phone or in-person. Counseling is available in English and Spanish with access to interpretation services in most languages.
If you need to schedule an appointment outside our normal business hours, on weekends, or need in-person accommodations, please call us at 540-378-8928.

Increased Demand
Due to our increased demand, we want to share another financial counseling/coaching option through our partner, GreenPath, for those that need more immediate service. GreenPath is a national nonprofit provider that can help people eliminate debt, improve credit, and build budgets that work for them. GreenPath provides extended phone counseling hours and can provide services in over 170 languages.
