As some of you know, I went to the Jus in Bello con in Rome again this year! Suffice to say, things were crazy as usual... the highlight of the con, for me, definitely was the 'special skills' moment in the Jensen/Misha panel LMAO

As per usual, I took lots of videos and organized them all in a playlist that you can find here on YouTube (with the names & length of all the videos listed) or that you can start watching here below :)

Have fun! I know I sure did filming them, I had a hard time trying to keep the camera steady enough as I was shaking from laughters filming ;p

What is ACTA? ACTA is the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. Chris and David chat about Doctor Who, Harry Potter, The Incredible Hulk, and working shirtless. PLUS! MANY fan questions answered. He was nine kinds of awesome.

Christopher Eccleston's new BBC movie "The Borrowers" (thanks to pat_san for the link)

The movie is perfect for the holiday season, it's so cute! It's based on Mary Norton's children's fantasy novel "The Borrowers" and it's about tiny people who live in people's homes and "borrow" things to survive while keeping their existence unknown.

SUITS

I've recently started catching up with the first season of Suits and I love it! Besides falling in love with all the characters, I couldn't get out of my head the wonderful and appropriately very 'suited' title song. It's by the Californian electronic-rock band Ima Robot and it's called Greenback boogie. You can download it from here.

I was extremely happy when I read that apokteino wrote a sequel to Bone… which, to me, is among the most beautiful stories that this fandom has ever produced.

In “Scarred”, I love how, in the beginning, Dean is the entire world for Castiel and then how his horizons begin to broaden with the passing of time. As the span of his emotions… how even pleasure, at first, is seen as “non-pain”, as something Castiel cannot quite fully comprehend or put a name on. Like he only knows pain and defines everything through it.

This is a hypnotizing tale of the discovery of sensations through Castiel’ eyes… his point of view that leads us through it all is engaging and, thanks to it, you’ll be able to experience the whirlwind of emotions Castiel goes through with much more strength and understanding.

If fossarian’s stories were cakes, I’d be savoring them slowly until the last bite and be sad but extremely satisfied once finished because of the lingering taste they would leave in my mouth.

Her prose is delightful and I love how she was able to depict Castiel’s falling in a truthful way, the sense of reality and disappointment of it all first. Pleasure is there too but it was not what came first and immediately and I liked how Castiel was *slowly* intoxicated by the taste of it in this story, finding it difficult to put a name on the sensation at first.

Title: Unsuffer Me

Another brilliant piece by janie_tangerine. This is the kind of apple pie life I have in mind for Dean...By the end, I was displaying the most idiotic silly grin on my face :)

This story is wonderful, electricskeptic has such a way with words that is just utterly delicious in every possible sense. This story was equally sweet and hot and, as oddlyfamiliar wrote in rec_hymenated, “It’s an AU future fic in which the last three episodes of Season 6 didn’t happen, so although it’s not technically an S6 fix-it fic, it certainly feels like it.”

Title: God Is Gone, And The Devil Is Me

Sex pollen at its best: this story is definitely hot but there’s so much more than just pwp going on and electricskeptic manages to mix all these different elements effortlessly. A great piece of writing!

The porn alone is very hot in this story (do I need to mention thigh holster/Dean?) but it’s possibly made even better by the 2014 atmosphere that pervades the narration.

Title: Infinite for a Moment & the sequel, I’m Forever Yours

This is such a beautifully story! The pace of the narration is amazing and I loved how the author mixed the personal romantic aspect with the throughly thought investigative plot. If you want a story that combines these two aspects in a spectacular way, this is it!

Warnings: violence, violence and then some violence, character death for a premise and happening throughout the fic, mention of a rape happened before the story starts but not graphic, torture (the act itself is not described in a graphic way, but the scene stops just before it), permanent disfugurement (consequences of previous warning), language (that might possibly be historically inaccurate, but otherwise it wouldn’t make the point). Also, every possible spaghetti western trope that you can come up with.
Summary: western AU. Dean Winchester is a bounty hunter, set to catch a group of killers in order to get the money and retire from the business. Castiel is another bounty hunter aiming for the rich businessman who pays that same group of killers to do his dirty work, but for personal reasons. They decide to work together. It doesn’t go as smoothly as it could.

The setting of this story is already amazing per se (the old west) but janie_tangerine manages to make it even better telling a great adventurous haunting tale. You’re going to be easily sucked in the enthralling atmosphere she has depicted!

Title: (Love Is Like A) Heat Wave

Summary/Notes: There’s a heatwave in South Dakota, and Bobby’s house doesn’t have A/C. Spending the night on the porch seems a logical option.

This fic is the posterfic for hot. If you think the first paragraphs are already steaming enough, think again. It’s such a sultry progression until the perfect ending.
obstinatrix’s prose is so vivid and evocative, I advise you to take your sweet time to read this like I did and enjoy every single word.

Title: Asunder

This is based — extremely, extremely loosely — on the Wedding Date.

This was such a joy to read and it combines the right amount of angst, fluff and sexy times… I think I want to draw hearts around it! I love how the author let us in into this world and, little by little, let us discover the characters and their past… how it has shaped them and made them stronger and who they are today. I particularly loved this paragraph: “Does it really matter?” Dean asks, rough, because there isn’t really an answer to that sort of question. It’s the only thing he’s really learned on the job, that the world is made-up of no-win scenarios, that you carve out tiny victories where you can and you make peace with yourself when you don’t. ♥

Title: When All is Lost and its sequel When the Road is as Dark as My Fears

Genre and/or Pairing: Dean/Castiel
Spoilers: up to 5.22
Warnings: graphic rape, abuse, and death of a major character - dark!fic.

Summary: The end of 5.22 takes a slight AU turn, and Dean takes it out on the only person left - Castiel. & The sequel: Castiel is just beginning to recover from what Dean has done to him when a case arises – and the FBI gets involved.

I don’t usually read rape fics but I’m glad I decided to give this a try. It was really dark but I liked it, apokteino pictures all those intense emotions really well. The sequel is just the perfect following: the part that struck me the most is when Dean finally thinks about what happened, the repercussion of his actions and why he acted like that.

Finally, I want to end this with an 'oldie but (very very) goodie'... I think probably everyone and their mother in the fandom has read it but, in the case there's someone who still hasn't, I suggest they do it asap :)

Title: Thursday's Child

Summary: Thursday’s child has far to go.
Notes: Spoilers for 5.04, 'The End'. So I got to wondering: what would have happened if past!Dean hadn’t turned up in 2014, and future!Dean had actually succeeded in killing Lucifer with the Colt? Apparently, it involves lots of angsting. Who knew?
Warnings: This is future!Castiel, so be prepared for Castiel/OFCs, drug use and alcohol abuse (hey, it’s all canon!). In addition there’s the odd bit of violence, some whump, muchas porning and very brief implied non-con (nothing graphic at all). Please be warned if you don’t like death!fics that this story is set after Dean had to kill Lucifer!Sam, so clearly there’s (a) no Sam and (b) some mourning. On the bright side, though, there's also a guest appearance from a real-life Hollywood star! (Well, sort of.)

One word for it: epic. I stayed home an entire Sunday just to finish this, I couldn't stop reading.

Of muffins and inexistent free time

Today my football training was canceled (I admit I'm not feeling so sad about it :p) so I had some free time to bake something with my usual partner in crime for these kinds of things, my sis :)

Ever since pyjamagurl gave me these recipes quite a long time ago, I'd been meaning to bake some muffins. It took quite some time but I've finally made it! I baked three kinds of muffins: cinnamon & carrots; mixed berries; chocolate chips & mixed berries. I think my favorite are the first kind... and last too :) Very yummy!!

Not much has been going on lately, except for the fact that I'm super busy... between football trainings (I've some extra ones with respect to last year because we qualified for the national championship this year) and university (I'm swamped with classes this semester) I don't have much free time anymore... I haven't opened photoshop in like forever! I'll try to make some icons over the long weekend, since I'm staying home on Monday and Tuesday, let's see if I manage to keep my promise :)

And since Castiel is heavily featured in this entry, I want to post something squishyballsaid on ontd_spnparty a couple of weeks ago regarding the whole Castiel situation. It sums up really well my opinion on the matter:

There seems to be a misconception that if you are a fan of Castiel, that you must hate Sam and Dean--as if it's impossible to love both. That is patently untrue. I've experienced much of the side of fandom that loves Cas and I can assure you that this isn't the majority view. Most fans love Sam, Dean, and Cas equally. Yes, there are a few haters, but aren't there haters in every category? Aren't there Sam fans who hate Cas? Aren't there Dean fans who sometimes resent Sam? Don't generalize the sometimes loudest voices as the overall viewpoint.

There is also this misconception that those who love Castiel are all "entitled-as-fuck" and demanding that the show keep him on--that we can't accept his death. That is not true. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that we could have dealt with his death and even have embraced it if it had been an honorable one, rather than one laden with corruption, spite, and blame. No matter if you love or hate Cas, you have to admit that Godstiel was a bitter pill to swallow. Had he gone out like Gabriel or Ellen/Jo, I think you have found here to be a much much smaller level of complaints--because YES Castiel would be dead, but would have done so in a way that was respectful of all the sacrifices his character had made.

In essence:
He came in with a bang, he deserves to go out with one too.

Not this tarnished, broken thing that the writers seem to be set out on exploiting. Not only was it disrespectful to Castiel, but also to Sam and Dean and the time he spent building a relationship with them. Are seasons 4-5 no longer important? Has all Castiel done been forgotten? Are Dean and Sam the only two who we can forgive when mistakes are made?

- I have a few friends who just recently got into Supernatural. They watched all of Seasons 1-5 in the course of a month. And then they began to watch Season 6. And I think one of them summarized it well when she said, "I don't recognize any of these characters anymore. It's like the ones I fell in love with and rooted for are gone." Sam was not Sam (although, he had good reason not to be without his soul). Dean was not Dean. And Cas was not Cas. Everyone's behavior was erratic and inconsistent.

Overall, Season 6 was very poorly constructed. I know there are a few who continue to defend it and call it the BEST SEASON EVER--but I honestly can't understand that viewpoint. And I have tried. God knows I have. Castiel being revealed to have been ~lying~ the whole time makes little sense when one goes back and watches the season all at once. Why not tell Dean he pulled Sam out? Why not reveal that he had accidentally missed Sam's soul in the process? Why not tell him about Crowley, when Dean, Sam, and Bobby have all worked with him too?

The Balthazar/Angelic Weapon storyline was then revealed to be illogical and pointless. As were the Campbells. As was "Mother". Red herrings are all good and fun...but do you really need so many of them? It's like the writers created so many threads that in the end they didn't know what to do with them.

And with the writers going against their original plan of killing Castiel in the finale (having him die in order to defeat Raphael)--and do so so late on in the season--it showcases how little thought they gave to the overall story. It's like they threw up their hands and said, "Yes! Let's make Castiel all spooky and evil. Haha! Perfect cliffhanger." They used Castiel as a character device for their own inability to maintain a consistent story arc. We need Sam to be soulless? Let's make it so that Cas screwed it up. We need a meta episode? Let's have Cas be all sneaky and send Sam and Dean there as a means of distracting Raphael. We need Sam's wall to break? Let's make Cas do it!

Moreover, they hadn't actually planned on giving Cas a chance to explain his side. Misha spoke frankly at one of the cons in that he had to talk with the writers about it. Essentially, he put forth that because Cas is a beloved character to many -- he couldn't suddenly flip to the dark side with no explanation. Only then did they step back and think of doing 6.20. They really couldn't have come to that conclusion on their own?

I suppose my main point is...people seem to be taking out their frustration with the SHOW and the WRITING out on a CHARACTER. As if Castiel hadn't been there at all, that this season would have magically been great and coherent and wonderful. And that so following, without Castiel for Season 7, there will suddenly be brilliant writing and character continuity.

Who wrote Season 6? The writers.
Who was the showrunner? Sera Gamble.

Who is writing Season 7? The same writers (with a few NEW additions).
Who is the showrunner going to be? Sera Gamble.

I know there is a lot of wank that comes when Gamble's name is mentioned. But for me, as she is showrunner, and thereby her job to maintain consistency in terms of both characterization and plot, I have to lay much of the blame at her feet. She okays the scripts. She okays the story arc. And so on. And in Season 6, she did not prove herself to be a competent showrunner.

I just don't think it will never go back to the Season 1 vibe. Not completely. Sam and Dean are not who they used to be. Trying to shove them back into the same formula doesn't give any space for their characters to grow and evolve as people. I guess Dean going back to his sleazy self and Sam back to his nerdy self satisfies the majority. It's just incredibly sad to me because both of their characters are so much more than those minor traits.

I guess I'm the odd man out. I want Sam and Dean to change and learn and grow. I want them to find friends and other hunters they can trust. I want them to forge close relationships with people other than themselves. I want them to be happy and achieve some measure of peace.

But I guess we're back to square one. Sam with his broken mind/soul and Dean worrying about how to fix him.

A few words on Doctor Who after I caught up with the entire revamped series

This summer, I had a mission: catching up with the entire revamped series of Doctor Who (meaning, from doctor n° 9 onward).

As of today, I can say that my mission has been fully accomplished and that I loved the series so much that I decided to buy a couple of Doctor who themed shirts from RedBubble.com. I'll even buy the DVD sets because this is definitely a TV-show I want to rewatch in the future.

The text on the T-shirt comes from one of the best episodes of the entire series, episode #3.10 Blink. "Larry Nightingale: 'The angels have the phonebox,' that's my favourite, I've got that on a T-shirt." - Now I've got it too :D

As you could probably already guess from the second shirt, Ten is my doctor.

I enjoyed Nine (Christofer Eccleston) a lot and I was really surprised when I read on the internet that he's not that much appreciated by the fandom... I really don't know why this is the case because I genuinely liked him... he's definitely underrated if you ask me!

In fact, I liked him so much that when Ten (David Tennant) appeared in his place for the first time, it took me a bit to get over Nine. But Tennant's absolutely brilliant performance as the Doctor swiftly took me over... yes, I liked Nine but Ten... I literally adore him! He is my doctor and I'll tell you more: in my opinion, he doesn't play the Doctor, HE IS the Doctor... I love the range of emotions he can make me feel and he probably "ruined" all the other ~~men~~ doctors for me. This is not to say I won't enjoy any other actor who'll play the part in the future but that Tennant will forever be the perfect incarnation of the Doctor in my imagination.

Besides (Eccleston &) Tennant, what I loved from series 1-4 were all the amazing companions (with the exception of Martha, the one I liked the least mainly because she was a little too much infatuated with the Doctor). Rose and her entire family (OMG Jackie Tyler! I know there are people who don't like her, but she was hilarious imho) and Donna, who is the companion I liked best (I consider Rose more of a romantic interest). And I'm putting Captain Jack among the companions I loved too... he, the Doctor and Rose are still my favorite Tardis team :D

Season 4 is my favorite... it's where epic happens, especially the more it moves towards the end. I'm still processing what happened in the double special The End of Time (end of season 4, the last episode for Tennant) and having a hard time getting over it.... not even the Tardis could handle the death of the tenth doctor.

Warning: do not watch if you want to be sad for the rest of the day

And this brings me to the latest revamp of the series, the Eleventh Doctor and the series under Moffat as showrunner. I'm aware my opinion is probably very unpopular and please stop reading if you really like seasons five and six, Matt Smith as the doctor and you're not interested in learning why I don't enjoy them as much as I did with seasons 1-4.

I gave Matt Smith time to win me over, much more than I had given Tennant when he took over from Eccleston. After all, it was only fair... as I've written above, Ten is my favorite doctor and I thought I couldn't get over him in just a handful of episodes. I've watched #6.09 today and I can positively say that I still have to get accustomed to the new doctor. There are his looks of course... I'm not lying to you, the fact that he looks so much younger compared to Nine and Ten still throws me off. There's the fact that I don't like Smith's acting... I'm not saying he's a bad actor, mind me. It's just that I don't like how he plays the Doctor. And then there's the writing and how this new incarnation is characterized: a little too childish and lighter in the tones for my liking.

You see, what I loved about Ten was that he could be light ("I like that. 'Allons-y'. I should say 'allons-y' more often. 'Allons-y'. Look sharp, Rose Tyler, allons-y! And *then*, it would be really brilliant if I met someone called Alonzo. Because then I could say, 'Allons-y, Alonzo!' Every time!") but then he could make me feel all the burden that comes with the Time War and the loneliness that comes with the fact he is the last one of his kind. I enjoyed this theme a lot and I was a bit sad to see it put on the backburner. Then, this is just my opinion: I know from a fact that lots of people like Eleven better precisely because "the Doctor's guilt seems to be no longer a burden to the Doctor, or to the viewer (it was getting rather tiresome). Instead, while the Doctor still copes with the loneliness of being the last of his species, he has a little more room for happiness and love."

The thing is I often feel emotionally disconnected while I'm watching the new doctor. Maybe this has to do with the fact that, in my opinion, it has become more "The Amy Pond/River Song show" than Doctor Who. And I don't like Amy as a companion all that much (please don't shoot me): her attitude really gets on my nerves sometimes, especially in season 5 if I have to be sincere, I recognize she has grown during her stay on the series. Anyway, to me it feels like in seasons 5 and 6 almost every episode focuses on Amy (her history, her feelings, her relationships) as the central element. Nine and Ten felt much more in control of what was going on around them...

I miss the fun of time-traveling adventures just for their sake... and the urban setting too. I miss the episodes set in London, too much rural setting if you ask me. And am I wrong, or the percentage of queer characters has drastically decreased?

Other silly things that I miss are the Doctor's famous catchphrase ('Allons-y' trumps 'Geronimo' a million time... and then Ten also spoke a little Italian: "Molto bene (very good)" and "Avanti (let's go)", how couldn't that steal my heart? *g*), the old sonic screwdriver and the Tardis.

Once again I make a point of emphasizing that it's just my opinion... I'm aware that people could like more season 5 & 6 for exactly the same reasons why I don't :)

I've found a Canadian site that sells rubber ducks and couldn't resist sending one from the pirate set: it's the one with the red bandana and eye-patch in the second picture below: isn't it cute? :D

3) I've finished watching the first season of Doctor Who and now I have to start the second. I really liked Nine's exuberant personality but I was really curious to see Ten too since it's the favorite doctor of a lot of people. I've watched the two specials set before season 2 (Children in need and the Christmas special) and liked Ten's introduction so far.

I have to thank once again girlfmkitty because I would have been lost among all the special episodes and spinoffs if she hadn't helped me find the correct viewing order. Thanks girl, it's very much appreciated <3

Talking of spinoffs, I've found out that Torchwood is the spinoff of Doctor Who! Yeah, I know I'm a late comer but bear with me. I had heard of the series but I didn't know it originated from DW. I'm planning of catching up with it too, it's not so many episodes after all. Plus, Captain Jack, who I liked so far in the first season of DW, is the lead! Woo-hoo!

Nala [edit] Updates on her situation at the end of the entry

During the night, my kitten Nala was run over (or she fell from a tree, we don't know precisely how it happened)... we brought her to the 24/7 animal clinic were she was diagnosed with a severe traumatic diaphragmatic hernia after the doctors saw her X-ray.

Later this afternoon, as soon as she is stable, she's having surgery but we don't know if she's going to survive, we have to be ready for the worst...

Please pray or send your good thoughts, I'd really appreciate it *hugs*

Thanks for all your messages, they mean a lot!
I've just come back from the clinic, luckily she made it through the surgery (this was the main concern of the surgeon). Now she has to go through the post-op phase but the surgeon vet was more optimistic about that part so I feel a little more relieved :)

I've called the clinic this morning to know how she was holding up and they've told me that she spent the night well and I can bring her home later in the afternoon :D I'm so happy, thanks so much to y'all for the support!

You remember that, some time ago, I posted an early draft of the Supernatural pilot? Well, I've found an even earlier draft!

This one is quite different from the other draft and from the pilot we saw on TV... suffice it to say that Mary died in a 'strange' car accident and Dean and Sam didn't know of things that creep in the dark from the beginning. Dean is quite a smoker too! I found it really interesting... even the way it ends diverges substantially from what is canon now.

It's quite a comprehensive collection of the music featured in the episodes, you'll even find the songs that we never got to listen but we were meant to (for instance, the songs that Kripke wanted to use in the pilot and couldn't be used because they were too pricey or because the artists didn't give the green light such as, for example, Metallica - Enter Sandman. You'll find them at the beginning of the folder, the file name starts with 00 instead of the number of the episode in which the others were used).
You'll also find the songs that were simply quoted or referred to somehow in the episodes (like, for instance, when Dean hums "Some kind of monster by Metallica" on the plane in #1.04 or when he quotes "Dust in the wind by Kansas" in #6.11 Appointment in Samarra); finally, you can find the songs which were used as titles for the episodes too: think of, for instance, #2.01 In My Time Of Dying (song by the Led Zeppelin), #2.14 Born Under a Bad Sign (by Cream) or #5.13 The Song Remains the Same (Led Zeppelin again).

Dean/Cas (& Castiel) fic recs

A while ago, I began saving links to my favourite Dean/Cas (and Castiel) stories... a couple of weeks ago I realized that I had collected enough to make a rec entry and I thought "Why not?" (actually, I realized when I was filing this that 'enough' is an understatement... there's quite a handful!).

Under the cut, you'll find the links to the stories with the original summaries&warnings and a short comment on why I think they're worth reading. I must confess I had fun putting this together but it also took most of my afternoon... so I sincerely hope you'll appreciate the effort ;D

This is absolutely lovely, I adore how nanoochka writes Dean and Cas... she captures them perfectly in AUs too! I love reading them, but it often happens that I begin the story and never end it because they're not consistent with the actual characters' personalities. Well, this is totally not the case!

I think I short circuit a couple of times at least when I read this. The poignancy of the description is sublime, perfectly showing Castiel’s descent into enjoying the perks of being human and feeling without filter. It’s difficult to single out a sentence from all this greatness, but I loved this one for the vivid sensation it evoked: Castiel can’t take it, doesn’t know how he’ll survive it without bursting into light.

This story’s imagery alone is fantastic but there’s so much more than that. It’s a wonderful exploration of both Castiel and Dean’s psyche, a very original AU take on their relationship dynamics in terms of interrogator/prisoner. This story is amazingly disturbing and it will blow you away!

To tell you the truth, Balthazar/Castiel isn't at the top of my shipping preferences but I can clearly see the potential that lies there. And I love fossarian's work so as soon as she posted this story, I knew I had to read it. And boy, all my expectations about this fic were fullfilled, in fact she completely excedeed them. The story is gorgeous, I loved the way she explored the characters, they felt so true to their voices and I also liked really much the bits where the vessels/their true forms were mentioned.

This story feels real and you’ll be surprised at the amount of details the author writes in her narrative that will make you like it even more.

Plus, Balthazar will make you laugh like no one else XD

It's definitely one of the best fics I've read (well, or listened to *g*), just... the imagery, the pace of the rescuing, the style... this is an enthralling and epic story.

He also doesn't know it's just the beginning of it. Also features Gabriel, Chuck, Andy, the Roadhouse crew and a huge amount of music quoted. Especially Bob Dylan.

One of my favourite AUs of all time and fandoms. I think very few people in the fandom haven't read this story yet but if you are one of them, what are you still doing here? Go read it right now, I command it!

It’s the perfect coda for 6x12 for Dean/Cas, it makes so much sense and I could picture it happening so easily. The characters were really true to their voices and I loved the backstory for Cas. nyoka has taken the few elements we had in canon for Cas and Dean in season six until that moment and extended them in a marvelous way.

It makes perfect sense that Dean expresses his feeling through baseball metaphores and I love how Dean is the person who can make Castiel the most angry and exasperated. But he's also the one who can make him the most happy :)

I was literally blown away by this story and loved to pieces so many bits of dialogue and scenes. They really felt real.
I truly enjoyed a lot the building up of the relationship between Cas and Dean and then how they worked through it, through thick and thin.

New shiny additions to my wardrobe

It's all janie_tangerine 's fault... as of today, my wardrobe has gained a couple of new shiny T-shirts! I've bought them from redbubble.com (which is quite an awesome site, check it out). Most of my flist will recognize which TV-show the first one refers to... the second one is a reference to Firefly and particularly to the character of Jayne Cobb and his 'cunning' hat... shiny (which, if you're wondering, means 'cool' in the Firefly slang)!

By the way, if you have never watched Firefly, consider doing it... I caught up with the series yesterday and it's great. Unfortunately, it's only 14 episodes 'cause ~~those assholes at~~ Fox canceled it but it will blow your mind. A movie based on the series, Serenity, was produced to round off the story though I've gotta say it's not as good as the series. But at least they gave it sort of an ending :)

If you need further convincing, Nathan Fillion stars in it. And chances are that, if you're part of any fandom, you'll recognize that pretty much half of the quotes you use or at least have heard of are from it... such as "Mine is an evil laugh", "I'm going to special hell", "I'll be in my bunk", "He looks better in red" to name a few.

So how's everyone feeling a week after the finale? I know I'm still devasted... I'm gonna quote my friend askboggle because I swear she lives in my brain. Needless to say, I agree completely with her!

#620 was a traumatic episode. I spent most of it in tears. Part of me though the finale couldn't possibly be any worse than that, but sort of tried to brace myself for the worst, just in case. It is Kripke after all. But I never expected this.

I feel like everything has been turned upside down, and I don't know how they're going to fix it. Or even if they'll even try~ to fix it. If Cas dies before he has any semblance of redemption, I'll be utterly devastated. Though there are plenty in the fandom who will strongly disagree with me, for me personally, the show has never been about just Sam and Dean. It's all about family, and Cas is as much the boys' family as Bobby, John, or Mary. More than anything, I don't want someone who is important to the Winchesters, who the fans have grown to love over the course of the last three seasons, to be written out as The Bad Guy. He deserves so much more than that. WE deserve so much more than that. If Cas has to die, I'd rather it be in a blaze of glory, doing the right thing for all the reason the Winchesters stand for. Anything less will be a crushing disappointment.
