We began life as The Design Lab and DMG Architects but over time our work has evolved, culminating in spatial flow + mindful architecture.
We now see the transformative power that alternative systems and models including Lean and psychology bring to the process of design, so a rebrand to Dwellbeing reflects what we do best; designing homes and spaces that are an organised and calming a refuge to recharge and enjoy.
Although we are based in Waterford, we spend a lot of time travelling around Ireland, seeing clients in Dublin, Kildare, Kilkenny, and many other counties in Ireland.

This is the second project we have worked with Ronan and Karen, one huge project(ongoing and very happy with progress) and one smaller project which has been so pleasurable. Pleasurable is not the way you would usually describe anything to do with design and building work, but thats what Karen and Ronan bring to the table, take the complications, the uncertainty and give a level of simplicity to a project whilst getting insight from you to help deliver the project in the way cant describe but can see in your head . Everybody has enough going on in their life without worrying about a lack of knowledge about renovating/building/designing that you might do once or twice in your life. I have found their collaborative approach refreshing after kissing some frogs in the past. I love the fact that you can be as hands on or off as you need to and you can rest assured the job will be done. I cannot recommend the team enough. We had a great experience working with Ronan & Karen and their team (who were recommended to us from our friends who had a similar positive experience) from initial design to final product. They designed a single story double height extension to the back of our semi detached home which maximises light through creative use of space and a clever roof design. We are delighted with the end result.
They took time with the design to identify needs vs wants and our style which resulted in a customer-centric solution that maximises flow and really reflects how we wish to live. They are budget conscious and look at how best to use the existing space rather than delivering a standard box-style extension.
They hired the contractor via a tender process to get the best cost and best fit for the job and project managed the build end-to-end and made sure the project was completed in a timely fashion and on budget.
