“What d’you mean?” Rose eyed the Doctor curiously.
“The people here mate for life, so if you…” The Doctor pointed at Jack, “start getting friendly, you’ll either have one or both halves of a couple out to kill you, or you’ll find yourself married.”
Jack paled. “For life?”
“Yes, and they live for two-hundred years.”
“I’ll stay in the TARDIS. I have no intention of being monotonous.”
“You mean monogamous.”
“Same thing.”
