The fundamental objective of the<br \/>\nstudy was to determine the extent information technology has helped to increase<br \/>\nthe quality of services provided by the bank and profitability. Data were<br \/>\ncollected through primary and secondary sources. The information were analyzed<br \/>\nusing chi-square. It was observed that the impact of information technology<br \/>\ncannot be over emphasized since it is the life of modern day banking.
