Administration Manager Job Vacancy in Kenya &#8211; Capital Markets Authority"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Vacancy Announcement for Human Capital &amp; Administration Manager<\/h2>\n<p>Ref: HCA\/01\/11<\/p>\n<p>Capital Markets Authority (CMA) is a statutory agency charged with the prime responsibility of regulating and developing an efficient capital market industry in Kenya.<\/p>\n<p>CMA is seeking to recruit a high caliber results-oriented person with exceptional communication and IT skills who will work flexibly with a small but highly professional team and respond imaginatively to varied and demanding range of tasks.<\/p>\n<p>Interested persons who are comfortable working in a high-performance environment and have the ability to turn strategy into practical actions through effective execution are invited to apply for the above position.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Human Capital &amp; Administration Manager will be responsible for:<br \/>\n\u2022 Planning, coordinating and implementing human capital and administration policies, strategies, systems and processes aligned to the CMA strategic objectives and aligned to local legislature;<br \/>\n\u2022 Design, plan, and develop talent acquisition and management through placements, development and retention strategy;<br \/>\n\u2022 Reward Structure Design Implement and Manage the Performance Management Framework for the Authority;<br \/>\n\u2022 Delivery of identified Training and Development initiatives through assessment of training needs, design and delivery of staff induction, training and development programmes for staff career progression, talent management and succession planning;<br \/>\n\u2022 Employee Relations management with the objective of upholding high employee morale, increased productivity and enhancing organizational effectiveness;<br \/>\n\u2022 Management of the Employee Disciplinary and Grievance process;<br \/>\n\u2022 Benefit administration;<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinating the implementation of procurement, logistics and administrative support services;<br \/>\n\u2022 Overseeing implementation of an effective human resource management information system for monitoring, tracking and evaluating employee activities, medical, pension and welfare programmes;<br \/>\n\u2022 Managing and Coordinating the Human Capital and Administration team to ensure efficient delivery of services to the Authority;<br \/>\n\u2022 Serving as secretary to the Human Capital Board Committee.<\/p>\n<h3>Required Qualification and Experience<\/h3>\n<p>Suitable candidates MUST have the following minimum qualification<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum eight (8) years experience gained in relevant working experience in human resources management four of which should be at a senior level in a reputable institution.<br \/>\n\u2022 Masters degree in Human Capital Development, Business Administration (MBA) or relevant higher degree in the social sciences focusing on the management and development of workforce.<br \/>\n\u2022 Professional qualification or membership to a relevant professional body such as IHRM, CIPD or CPS.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Skills and Competencies<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrated proven leadership and managerial skills including excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proven track record and adaptability to changing organizational needs.<br \/>\n\u2022 Thorough working knowledge of Kenyan labor legislation.<br \/>\n\u2022 High integrity.<br \/>\n\u2022 Initiative and self-drive for high quality performance, and \u201cteamplayer\u201d attitude.<br \/>\n\u2022 Proficient in computer application including computerized HR information systems and other relevant software packages.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to maintain professional status and keep abreast of evolving trends in human capital development through continuing professional education programmes.<\/p>\n<p>If you believe you meet the above requirements, kindly send your application quoting the reference of the position you are interested in, including your current curriculum vitae, salary history, three referees (one of who must be either your current or previous employer), day telephone number, email address and details of your current salary and benefits to:<\/p>\n<p>Chief Executive<br \/>\nCapital Markets Authority<br \/>\nP O Box 74800-00200,<br \/>\nNairobi<\/p>\n<p>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.<br \/>\nThis vacancy announcement is also available on the Authority\u2019s website: www.cma.or.ke<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vacancy Announcement for Human Capital &amp;
