Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is a statutory body established under the Accountants Act, 2008 for the regulation of the profession of accountancy in Kenya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Institute is seeking to recruit top notch quality candidate to fill the position of Director, Professional Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Responsibilities\"><\/span>Responsibilities<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Plan the programs and activities of the division relative to its functions<br>\u2022 Coordinate resources and manage execution of programs<br>\u2022 Undertake supervision and setting of performance objectives<br>\u2022 Exercise control by monitoring and evaluating performance of staff on the objectives set<br>\u2022 Develop and Submit reports to the CEO and Council on various programs in the division<br>\u2022 Spearhead Innovation at the Institute<br>\u2022 Enhance members competencies by providing appropriate training programs<br>\u2022 Contribute to the Financial Growth of the Institute<br>\u2022 Promote compliance with all standards related to the accounting profession (IESs, IFRS, IPSAS etc)<br>\u2022 Negotiate, formalize and execute collaborative linkages with other Professional bodies and stakeholders<br>\u2022 Prepare and dispatch technical response on Technical IFRS issues as may be requested by Media or other stakeholders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Person_Profile\"><\/span>Person Profile<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2022 Must be a holder of a Masters Degree preferably in Accountancy, Finance and related field.<br>\u2022 Fully qualified CPA with ICPAK membership in good standing<br>\u2022 Minimum five years experience preferably in academic, research or public audit practice.<br>\u2022 Well developed intellectual, analytical and diagnostic skills and have broad appreciation of theoretical and practical underpinnings of the accountancy and other related professions.<br>\u2022 A strategic thinker with excellent leadership organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to nurture and build relationships influence and motivate.<br>\u2022 Below 40 years of age.<br>\u2022 Must be computer literate and well conversant with current ICT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\"
