The NGO Security Program, Nairobi Office, is recruiting for the following positions:<\/p>\n
Finance Assistant\/Accountant
\nCommencement: Immediate
\nContract: 1 Year renewable<\/p>\n
Purpose of the position:
\nThis position of high dependability will function as the Finance Assistant\/Accountant. The Key responsibilities of this position will be to carry out all bank \/ cash transactions, booking payments, cash book tracking and general administration.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:
\n\u2022 Completion of Secondary school
\n\u2022 Qualifications in accounting i.e. CPA, ACCA
\n\u2022 Degree qualification in accounting, finance or related field is desirable but not mandatory.<\/p>\n
Experience:
\n\u2022 1 year experience in an accountancy role.
\n\u2022 1 year of experience in handling NGO Finances (will be considered an added advantage)<\/p>\n
Security Analyst and Safety Coordinator
\nCommencement: Immediate
\nContract: 1 Year Renewable<\/p>\n
Purpose of the position:
\nThe Security Analyst and Safety Coordinator a key person who will be responsible for managing the Field Operation Specialist team.<\/p>\n
The purpose of this position is to: provide geopolitical analysis and write high quality security report based on data provided by the Field Operation Specialists team targeting an audience of NGOs; support NGOs during crisis management.<\/p>\n
The ability to interact with all parties while maintaining and emphasizing a position of principled political neutrality and operational independence is paramount.<\/p>\n
Qualification:
\n\u2022 Bachelor in Journalism, Political Sciences, History, Anthropology or any other equivalent diploma<\/p>\n
Experience:
\n\u2022 3 – 5 years of experience in positions requiring information sourcing, processing, analysis and reporting.
\n\u2022 Minimum 2 years of Somalia experience.
\n\u2022 Minimum 2 years experience in security (NGO or government institutions) at a management level
\n\u2022 Experience in critical incident management.<\/p>\n
