Group Lending Product Manager – Microfinance<\/p>\n
Tasks and Responsibilities:
\u2022 Responsible for the launch and the management of the Group lending program and portfolio;
\u2022 Responsible for the commercial success of the Group lending operations; reporting directly to the Head of Business Development;
\u2022 Develop and implement strategies for the rapid expansion of the Group Lending program and ensure that business targets in terms of growth and quality are achieved;
\u2022 Develop and pilot the basic Group Lending product and lending methodology in urban, semi-urban and rural areas;
\u2022 Work closely with management and clients to develop the Group lending methodology and processes;
\u2022 Ensure that credit policies and procedures are accurately applied throughout all Group Lending branches;
\u2022 Be responsible for all human resource development aspects related to the Group Lending program, in particular recruitment and selection, training and performance management systems;
\u2022 Directly supervise Credit Officers of the Group Lending program;
\u2022 Facilitate controls and audits by the Risk and Internal Audit departments.
\u2022 To deliver superior customer service to new and existing customers in becoming pre-eminent in the market
\u2022 To effectively receive and interview clients within the assigned delivery channels in order to concentrate on sales targets, and to sell products offered by the company within company policy and legislative requirements.
\u2022 To ensure standards pertaining to marketing and customer service are exceeded and that every opportunity of selling a variety of products to a customer is maximized.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements
\u2022 Diploma or Degree in management\/finance\/economics\/business studies or social sciences.
\u2022 3-5 years of relevant experience, (i.e. related to group lending) in a micro finance institution\/ bank. (This requirement is a must)
\u2022 Experience in developing and implementing urban and\/or rural credit products;
\u2022 We are looking for candidates who are; highly motivated, eager to learn, self-confident, appreciative of a challenge, persistent, competitive, able to cope with rejection, have great listening skills, physically and mentally energetic. <\/p>\n
