Managing Director
\nReports to: In this capacity you will report directly to the Group CEO or Board of Directors
\nLocation: Nairobi, Kenya<\/p>\n
Focus during the First 12 Months:
\n\u2022 Create an appropriate vision, long-term strategy and company culture
\n\u2022 Develop relationships with key investors and venture capitalists
\n\u2022 Develop and lead the execution of sales and marketing plans.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Act as the Primary Cloud Computing Expert for the firm;
\n\u2022 Identify, develop and direct the implementation of business strategy for Kutana cloud computing
\n\u2022 Plan and direct the organisation’s activities to achieve stated\/agreed targets and standards for financial and trading performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence and where appropriate best practice
\n\u2022 Select, recruit, and develop the core executive team
\n\u2022 Direct functions and performance via the executive team
\n\u2022 Maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory\/official bodies
\n\u2022 Establish, achieve and report to shareholders\/parent board on organisational plans and performance
\n\u2022 Execute the responsibilities of a Managing director according to lawful and ethical standards, as referenced in Kutana Cloud Employment policy manual.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Strong communication skills and ability to build consensus, facilitate compromise and negotiate solutions.
\n\u2022 Excellent communication skills, both oral and written across business and technical audiences at all organizational levels.
\n\u2022 Self motivated and results driven
\n\u2022 Should ideally have software and\/or cloud computing \/ SaaS experience
\n\u2022 Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
\n\u2022 Effective negotiation and people management skills
\n\u2022 Successful in fast paced and quick changing environments
\n\u2022 Technical expertise in web systems architecture, design and development
\n\u2022 Proven ability to develop strong client relationships with both technical and non-technical clients
\n\u2022 Proven business development expertise
\n\u2022 Solid understanding of software development methodologies, enterprise architecture, and software design patterns<\/p>\n
Education and Work experience:
\n\u2022 Should have a minimum of ten years work experience five of which should have been at senior management level, CEO and\/or CFO\/COO track record
\n\u2022 Relevant Masters Degree is a must
\n\u2022 Experience with fund raising is desirable<\/p>\n
Business Analyst
\nSupervised by & Reports to: Managing Director<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:
\n\u2022 Document and analyze the required information and data collected during Requirements Gathering & Elicitation
\n\u2022 Understanding the technical designs as well as the specifications
\n\u2022 Evaluate the information gathered through workshops and surveys, business process description and task analysis.
\n\u2022 Effectively communicating with internal teams and external clients to deliver functional requirements like GUI, screen and interface designs.
\n\u2022 Very strong Analytical skills coupled with Business Intelligence and a deep understanding of customer’s needs so that they can be transformed into application and operational requirements.
\n\u2022 Acting as an interface between business units, technology teams, project team, Project Manager and support teams<\/p>\n
Educational Requirements\/Work Experience\/Skills and Abilities:
\n\u2022 Good first degree in Computer Science, Business with IT or allied field
\n\u2022 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n\u2022 Strong analytical skills
\n\u2022 Proficient Computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite, MS Project\/other project management applications<\/p>\n
