The four (4) positions report to the Project Manager and are based in various offices in the Rift Valley.<\/p>\n<h2>Purpose of the Job<\/h2>\n<p>To provide technical expertise and support project activities and implementation of the project strategy.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Provide technical expertise and support project in roll out of the community strategy, including strengthening the existing CHUs<br \/>\n\u2022 Develops and or participates in community strategy and WATSAN programs concepts and strategies<br \/>\n\u2022 Review implementation work plans budgets including processing relevant financial transactions<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist to develop relevant materials and systems to support CHUs and WATSAN project design, implementation and management<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist in building the capacity of CSOs, LIPs, and CHUs through the provision of Technical Assistance (TA) to CHWs, CHEWs, CHCs and other Level 1<br \/>\n\u2022 Build the capacity of CHUs in community based health management information system<br \/>\n\u2022 Monitor implementation, programming, data quality and maintain records on field activities, progress and report for field cluster<br \/>\n\u2022 Participate in the development of health promotion related materials (IEC) for water and sanitation and hygiene<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist strengthen social mobilisation through networks with relevant partners, stakeholders, collaborators and partnership on implementation<br \/>\n\u2022 Participates in operations research within the project, documentation and dissemination of new lessons and experiences.<\/p>\n<h3>Qualifications and Competencies<\/h3>\n<p>The ideal candidates should have a first degree in Social Sciences, Public Health or its equivalent; At least three years hands on experience in HIV \/AIDS related work especially in community strategy (KEPH), health promotion education, WATSAN and organisational capacity building.<\/p>\n<p>Must have skills in organising and conducting participatory learning approaches for CHWs and TOTs; Conversant with health promotion school initiatives &#8211; PHASE\/PHAST, community mobilisation and networking skills, training and facilitation, monitoring and evaluation.<\/p>\n<p>They should be team players and good communicators.
