Main Responsibilities
\u2022 Advanced knowledge of Telecom , Networking and UNIX Administration
\u2022 Problem debugging\/isolation skills for applications\/DBs \/Interfaces
\u2022 Vendor co-ordination and conflict mgmt skills
\u2022 Documentation,
\u2022 Shift operations planning and co-ordination
\u2022 Reporting & Presentations , Write well constructed shell scripts with functional routines,
\u2022 Deal with customers in a professional & courteous manner which keeps them informed and offers value on a daily basis , Sound understanding of VAS Services, Call flows, GSM, SS7, clustering solutions
\u2022 Understand the impact of particular processes along with what processes should be running on a server & how they should be configured
\u2022 Solid understanding of storage, including SAN attached & local storage
\u2022 Thorough understanding of monitoring and reporting tools
\u2022 Provides assistance to team members to achieve individual and team tasks
\u2022 Demonstrates self assurance in own actions, judgments and capabilities
\u2022 Work together with external technical groups in order to resolve customer issues effectively
\u2022 Actively troubleshoot monitoring and reporting issues
\u2022 Excellent communication skills – Written & Oral.<\/p>\n
Required Skills and Qualification
\u2022 Graduate\/ BE \/ MCA or Equivalent
\u2022 3-4 years of experience in providing L1\/L2 support in Telecom domain and with at least 2-4 years experience in supporting Telecom VAS software products\/applications.<\/p>\n
