NFA manages Central Forest Reserves in partnership with Government, private sector and local communities.NFA is seeking to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n<p>POSITION INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGER (1 POST)<br \/>\nReports to: Director Corporate Affairs<br \/>\n\u2022Duty Station: Kampala Salary Scale: 3<br \/>\nTerms of Employment: 3 years contract (Renewable)<\/p>\n<p>Job Summary:<br \/>\nWill develop and implement an IT policy for NFA and manage all other related IT equipment and infrastructure for the Authority.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities and Tasks:<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop and Implement an ICT policy for the National Forestry Authority.<br \/>\n\u2022 Advise and facilitate the acquisition, installation and maintenance of efficient ICT hardware and Software infrastructure in NFA.<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinate maintenance of existing ICT hardware, software and Network infrastructure.<br \/>\n\u2022 Prepare, administer ,and manage IT work plans, budgets and reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Coordinate data and systems security.<\/p>\n<p>Job requirement<br \/>\nMinimum Qualifications, skills and experience:<br \/>\n\u2022 Honours degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Information Systems Management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Post graduate training and Professional qualifications such as MCP, MCSB, Oracle, A&#8221;+, will be an added advantage<br \/>\n\u2022 At least five years in a similar position in a reputable organization.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ability to develop ICT Policies, Manage LAN, WAN and ICT infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>How to apply<br \/>\nif you have the necessary qualifications and experience, please apply to the address below providing an application letter, a detailed CV including current remuneration, names and addresses of three referees, copies of professional\/educational certificates and day time telephone contact.
