I use a monitor so that the clock can be seen across a room with at least 20 tables. There is on sound, but the players have no excuse that they cannot see the clock.
Excellent free product - all but eliminated problems with slow play at our club. And yes it does allow you to use either default or customized messages such as "for X minutes left do not start new board". You can even substitute your own messages if you record them with other software and then add the files to the Round Timer folder.
I like the product a lot, but would ask that two things be added. 1) can you allow for a title? I often run two games with different numbers of boards / round. It would be convenient if I could label 1 "Section A" and the other "Section B". 2) It would be useful to be able to change the size of the display.
