Late July decided I don't do enough.

First off, my mom's been out of the hospital a few days and is doing very well. Woo.

Second, along with a co-worker flat out vanishing about two weeks ago, another just up and quit. No one but management knows why.
The vanished co-worker works in the same department I do, and so my hours have been shifted to cover things (I was getting used to working mornings, too...). The quit co-worker was in a different department but also did cashier (which I was for a year) so I did some surprise hours last week to help that.

I guess, according to July, I didn't do enough so it needed to throw a couple of wrenches at me.

This journal post is a mix of venting and letting anyone that hits my page wondering where I am know what's up.

I just feel so bad because I've had two things to mail delayed by a week cause of this x.x

It's over.

In a few days, weeks, months, whatever she turns around and changes her mind... I'll accept it.
Right now it hurts... it hurts a lot, but I'm not too sad. I got most of that out of my system last night. I've spent most of the past couple of days preparing myself for this. Preparing myself for this exact outcome, so I'm not horribly depressed about it.
We spent the past few hours, along with another friend, watching FMA while in a Skype call.
It was fun.
In time I'll get over it, but for now I'll mourn what could have been.

Christmas. It's more a tradition since my parents are Pagan and I'm more... not anything.

We did Yule a couple of years with gifts but my parents don't really need anything so we stopped that. If we're not busy my mom may make something festive on Yule, but that's it.

I wanted to revisit the idea when I had gotten all the figures, so I did!
